The Kriega OS is an excellent system 👌. In day to day life i use a pair of OS 6 on my T7, just enough for basics. Then for trips I fit the OS 12 ...these hold a ton of stuff and still look great on the T7. They really suit the bike . And on a 7hrs ride recently in some heavy rain 🌧 they are definitely waterproof! Cheers, Steve
Hello Josh....so good to see blue skies...bloody cold and wet here, OK a good display of the bags on the bike, I did buy the mirrors from Torimoto, I fitted them to my bike and very happy on your recommendation. Safe travels regards to Nat.... David...Adelaide...Tiger900GT
Great gear Josh, i have about 2.5k of Kriega luggage, both OS & US on the AT and DRZ. By far the best, well thought out modular luggage system available imo. Get a couple of OS6`s for your crash bars and you will be set. Good stuff Tori and Kriega
Well if Glenn gives it the thumbs up you know it's good shit 👌👌 I dunno about the 6's tho mate that's a lot of coin for crash bar bags... I don't drop the bike that much but still 😬
Thank you for all this info. Great bike and setup. I just bought this kriega os with 2x 12 liters for my ktm 790 adv. 2024 ( I just ordered it. I'm supposed to receive it soon in February ) . I can wait to fit this system
Quality modular rackless system that’s more versatile & lighter weight (& slightly less spendy) than Mosko. Pair of 6’s on the base for every day essentials move up to the crash bars when the bigger bags go out back. With you on refusing to add any more tubular steel clutter to the bike. Centre stands & racks are out for me too. You’re unlikely to be disappointed with this setup, mate. Really like mine for their minimalist approach, quality & versatility.
The Kriega gear is Great! 😎 I bought the same bags last month, standard OS Base with the 12L bags, love it. I’ve had a Kriega US-20 bag for years. Depending on how much I need to take I can use the seat loops to attach the US20 in between the 12L OS bags, works great. 👍
Great Review mate. Like you said, they do look good on the T7 and ooze quality. Should serve you well. I really like the white inner, so you can easily see what's in the bags. FPP.
Thanks again for a well explained first impression. I have been looking at these for Olaf my Drz400s but have been hesitant cause of price. But like you said good gear isn't cheap. Thanks again for the great work you and Nat do.
I saw them on another Aussies channel a little while ago called JoshJB. He is in NSW and rides a yellow and black Drz400e. He is new to adventure riding and didn't have anything to compare them too, but thought they were really good.
Yeah for sure mate, dunno if I could go back to a single cylinder now haha love that noise. Sounds and feels like riding an old V8 through the scrub 😅 Takes me back to my 308 days...
Great vid, I've been looking at these as an option compared to frames and panniers, pleased to see how easy they fit and they look the dogs danglies, thanks GMan
Cool panniers mate , I use Eurostan , side pouches like you put on your crash 💥 bars I used x2 Australian Army Minimi Punches , I put tools in one and compressor in the other
I've thought about the Kriega rackless gear myself, but I don't think it would work with my exhaust on the 1090, Nice find with the single trails at the end of the video
Yeah true mate, the low exhaust on the T7 has a few disadvantages but being able to use rackless is one advantage. Cheers Danny be good if there were some more singles in that area would be worth going out there for a ride, might have to look around a bit more ✌
Hey Josh, I hope you and Nat can get away for a week soon ;) Like your vids very much, keep on like this. Over here in Germany we don't have that much Dirt roads, so my T7 Weekends are more like 80/20% on/off. Cheers
Are you worried about damage to the plastic tabs on the underside of the tail section having the luggage system pressing down on it? @Nerb1 did a video on this as a concern.
Yeah I saw that issue on Nerb's vid, not too worried yet been running different saddle bags so far without problems. Either Nerb's carrying bigger bags/more weight or just sending it too hard 😎 Probably both
I really like the look of the Kreiga bags but there's no way I'd fit my camping gear in the ones you got 😩 Maybe I'm carrying too much though😉 as for the rack system, I'm a bit the same, I prefer the look of rackless but love the stability of having one, once my panniers are on, they don't move at all. I'm making a new (less bulky) rack for mine soon 👍
@@MVDBR haha no shoes 😂 just my double pluggers and my forma boots 👍 I have a rack set up, it’s mounts where the grab handles are, just take them off and replace with the rack, it aluminium so really light, really easy to do and only takes a couple of minutes. Only problem with mine is it’s really bulky which is why we are making a new one 😀
@@MVDBR the other bonus to that is also the fact that you don’t have to muck around with strapping the bags on and off, they stay permanently connected to the rack, fill your bags inside then put the whole thing on the back of your bike. Easy peasy 👌
Been running a different brand of 12L rackless panniers for a fair while now without issue, but yeah it's definitely something to keep in mind I've seen Nerbs 😬

I'm using Giant Loop stuff, but the Kriega system is very well thought out and tough. GL has served me well over 9 years. 51L and a back pack is all I need to live out of. Do you plan on getting top bag or just run the one you own already? Enduristan makes similar products as well✌
I agree that rear pannier racks are ugly AF. But I've got them on my 790 Adv to act as crash bars- good protection for the rear especially when theres the exhaust, fairings, and tail lights. I don't even use them to carry luggage, that all sits on the pillion seat and rear rack
I actually crashed on them last ride (newest vid published today) I had a solid heavy toolkit in the bag that the bike landed on. I was worried the plastics underneath would be broken but so far as I can tell they are ok, I haven't pulled the fender off to have a proper look though. I think last time I had the fender off I reinforced those joins a little with some epoxy. But nah all good so far 🤙
@@MVDBR tee shirt reinforcing 😢.. more just a thickening agent.. would be good to hear your review of what you've currently got.. & how ya got to it with your past fittings etc.. just watched you latest on the little rear rack top bag
Depends on the jacket, I haven't tried but I reckon I could squish my mesh jacket in the 12. It only has elbow armour though no back or shoulder guards.
Hi, i am in the process of ordering this OS system. But the problem is that you can not find one dealer that has everything in stock that you need. Do not really get that. Most dealers are nothing more then a passtrough. You can place your order and then they will order it themselfs. Leaving you waiting and waiting. I hate those dealers. Kriega should block them. Not only Kriega. All the dealers that do not want to have products in stock. But now i have found one that has most stuff. But does not sell the os6 and the bottle-holder. So i need a few quick answers while my basket is still "open" with that webshop. Does the OS 12 also fit to OS22 . Or is the OS6 the max ? Or will it be even to large for the OS32 ? Today i did found out that there is also an OS40. Not an US40 but an OS40. So when offset you could go for the 40 on the opposite side of the exhaust and the 32 at the side of the exhaust. But i rather would have the extension bags like the OS6 and the OS12. So you can f.e. in the 6 have your petrolburner. Or your rainsuit for easy access. If you could answer that the OS12 does have a good fit on the OS22 then i can place my order. And then go to the other webshop from another dealer to place an order for the bottleholder. Cause i really need that one. I am going on a 6 week long trip to Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia. But i really do not want the OS12 to be sticking out at the side. It is as you told the side where the exhaust is. And i have plenty of experience with exhausts burning and ruining my stuff. You help woulf be appreaciated. But please do not wait to long with your answer. Really need that. And when you are asking yourself. Why did he not order any sooner ? Would go two up. With someone who did not dare to go away from the tarmac. So the tiny amount offroad did not justify the purchase of softluggage. Now it does.
I'm sorry but I have no idea. I'm not a dealer or an expert on them I just bought a couple of the products. It's probably hard to get an answer from someone at Kriega but they would probably be your best bet to get a proper answer on such queries.
I don't think they're that good. The strap to compress them down is the same that holds them on, so every time you open them up they sag way down. Also would prefer a silicon top-loading zipper arrangement to end-loading roll top. Didn't like their trail 18 backpack either. Recommend mosko moto or enduristan soft gear instead.
How can this be “expensive”? It’s a fantastic product, light weight, amazing warranty/guaranty, for about 300 US/GBP/EUR… This is priced fair and sensible.
Comparatively speaking. About $585 AUD for this setup, where my Nelson Rigg saddle bags of similar capacity cost $220 AUD. They have a lifetime warranty but do lack some of the features of the Kriegas.
I reckon it would probably help a bit, but I didn't think the dump here was that expensive anyway... a lot of stuff is free to dump as it is. I know they sting ya a fair bit for tyres tho
