I just cant get enough of looking at what other people carry, and well filmed too. Thanks for sharing.. ive just lashed out on some Kriega OS 12s but I have a big duffle as well, nothing worse than having nowhere to put your food and beer after a trip to the shop. Thanks for sharing.

The Kriega stuff is pricey, but it stands up to a lot of abuse

    I dig your set-up.

    Hi Si,
Watching the video with a nice cuppa 😉.
Definitely interested to see your dried food ideas.
Weight in the back is of a concern to me and I'm going to have to look into those duvet covers.
    Cheers for the content 👍

Nice setup. Thermarest is 370g not 37g…

Hi mate. Just wondering which os base you use? The universal or dirt bike base?

    Thanks.
I like a show and tell video, too.
Couple of questions: Can you simmer with that mini stove, or is it basically boil only?
Have you ever tried hammocks, as opposed to tents - I find them far more comfortable, but I need to revert to tarp camping when there aren’t suitable trees (yet I still prefer a hammock and tarp over a tent for comfort and ease).

Thanks for watching Johnathan. Yes, the MSR Pocket Rocket is fully adjustable, so can be turned down to simmer. I do have a hammock, but most of my camping is done in places where it's not easy to find somewhere to hang it. A tent is just more flexible. To cut weight I just carry the tent.

@@SongsFromTheSaddle : I usually make my own gear so next project will be a tarp and hammock that can easily be used on the ground as a tent. A top quilt plus a mattress will do for both hammock and tent (although an underquilt is so much nicer in n a hammock) .
The tricky part is designing a tarp that can be erected nearly as quickly and easily when it’s being used as a tent.

Oh, and one more question: that sawyer mini, it filters water but doesn’t 100% “purify” it (cryptosporidium etc don’t get filtered out).
Have you ever got exploding bottom syndrome after drinking filtered but non-boiled water?

Water in the UK is generally safe anyway. I've never had a problem.

I've just recorded another video in which I explain all the mods to the bike for TET riding. I'll be posting it in a few weeks'
