    is 'destiny' a concept?; 11:08, you are taken care of; 21:00, the manifestation is purposeless; 24:55, more the greatness, more the bondage; 29:40, you look for simple truth - making it difficult; 45:31, who comes to know that all existence is false?; 54:54, what you accept in full faith, happens; 1:06:27, (some mix-up) 1:07:58, a sage is rich without possessions; 1:18:07, existence is just an appearance;

    Oneness doesn't sound desirable, no perception, is nothing, the no knowledge state is death. If the no knowing state is so perfect why is there starvation and sickness, perfect? I don't think so, in fact my BS detector is flashing red.

      @Stop ThinkingMere concepts, we were given this enormous brain to think with otherwise we should have remained at the stage of the great apes. Let us assume that nature rarely makes mistakes, then thought becomes an objective of evolution. David Carse who had a similar 'dissolving of the ego' ('The brilliant silence') as Tony Parsons ('The open secret') said "The cosmos seems to work on the principle of 'The need to know' and there is rarely a need to know" Like Tony Parsons his 'experience' was spontaneous (there is no experience or enlightenment because the experiencer has vanished, all that remains is the memory of what was before the loss of identity, he doesn't walk there is only walking arising, he doesn't have hunger, there is hunger arising but for nobody etc.)

    • @albundy9597

      @Stop Thinking According to Nisargadatta Maharaj your true nature is prior to consciousness, without attributes, desires or awareness. Here a quote from Tony Parsons :-
      There is no me or you, no seeker, no enlightenment, no disciple and no guru. There is no better or worse, no path, and nothing that has to be achieved. All appearance is source. All that apparently manifests-the world, the life story, the hypnotic dream of separation, the search for home, is the one appearing as two, the nothing appearing as everything, the absolute appearing as the particular.

      There is no separate intelligence weaving a destiny, and no choice functioning at any level. Nothing is happening, but this, as it is, invites the apparent seeker to rediscover that which already is . . the abiding uncaused, unchanging, impersonal silence from which unconditional love overflows and celebrates. It is the wonderful mystery.. . Tony Parsons
      He actually had a revelation and lost all self identity. He ridicules the idea that you can do anything to achieve this. Meditation only solidifies duality, there is a separate individual who hopes to acquire enlightenment which is separate from him. Since enlightenment entails being the 'one' with everything the individual ceases to be and therefore can't be enlightened, he doesn't exist anymore, there is no longer an experiencer. In his talks he says, "I am not enlightened, I am not a teacher, the words you hear come from nothing and are heard by nobody.

      @@albundy9597 for your suprise you can come out with even more human mental bshit or sit down ...stop eating pigs and dead bodies like a zombie. just sit and relax . relax so deply that one day you will feel that silence going under your skin. you will feel its aliveness. after a while perhaps will be conceded to you by this greater consciousness to feel the unity and remeber one small fragment of yourself. but no thing is given without the strong and uter desire to KNOW YOURSELF . THOSE HUMANS ....SO SCARED OF THE SO CALLED NOTHINGNESS . liek nothingness its a human concept ...has nothing to do with it actually

      @al bundy we are all speaking from the same point. but our own perspectives we see as different from from someone elses. How is it we can see division within Oneness?? "I" & "we" "you" are who percieves the difference. @al bundy you equated no perception, no knowelege state as death? and you said it doesnt seem "desirable" .... It is not desirable and it is death for the "ego" and sense of seperateness..
      suffering in the world isnt created by "god", but by selfishness and ignorance...... Would you hold steven Speilberg responsible for the atrocities of Schindlers List? (sorry for extreme example) (sunrise hearthands emoji) heart

      @@smileifyoudontexist6320 I've been listening to Nisargadatta and Ramana Maharshi lately, in some points they seem to diverge away from one another. I think it is important to be discerning. For one both offer up CONCEPTS there is no proof either way (how could there be) both claim to be transcending the mind but they are doing it using the mind (even in meditation the mind is there, it may be silent on the surface but it is still tunneling away). I still can't see how the state of the absolute is desirable, it is basically nothingness, a power aware only of itself that needs a temporal consciousness to be aware of anything and what is it aware of, the illusion that it has caused to be created. Ramana considered consciousness to be the absolute, Nisargadatta considered that he had transcended it.
      As for suffering, according to both we are not the doers so our greed and selfishness doen't come into it, so who is the doer of evil?
      According to Tony Parsons nothing is happening since presence is timeless (the holocaust didn't happen, it was experienced but by nobody, can't get more convoluted than that). I have read of people who have had revelations, a hint at the truth, that is uplifting but not understood. In all we only have concepts and some lucky few who have had a spontaneous revelation (some can be reproduced in a lab with cranial magnetism).
      I can say after many years of spiritual teachings and meditation, I'm done with it. Yes there is a mystery out there but it isn't generally available to know, perhaps for a reason, Maya has a purpose.
