Trivium is a good place to stop is Judson wants to explore metalcore. Shogun the song is amazing but that somewhat strays away from the metalcore vibes but it's just a real journey of a track. The ascendancy album is pretty quintessential metalcore though so might be good to grab something from there! Also, Judsons Australian accent is honestly pretty good in comparison to most I've heard. Love from Australia xx
Please please have Judson watch the live version of Wild Eyes, it’s soooo good Also some August Burn Red and please for the love of god have him listen to Six by All That Remains 😊
As an Aussie, the accents get a pass......where can I pay for you to check out Devolved - Progress, for some awesome Aussie death (great drummer that has worked with Fear Factory, it will tickle Judsons double bass nerve), or any Sadistik Exekution for some OLD Aussie black metal?
The “I don’t know d!ck” really caught me off guard and I spit My water out I wasn’t a huge fan of their latest two albums but I thought Ire was a fantastic album. I had that on repeat for a long time.
Saw PWD last summer at Tuska festival. And I have to agree with you Richard: the later stuff doesn't really hit the same. They still played an awesome gig and considering they played an almost 90 min set it's actually very nice to have some variation with the slightly slower newer stuff.
Hey guys. Please react/listen to "Prognan - Tri Nacjie" "Bloodbath - Eaten" "Borknagar - Up North" "Satyricon - Mother North" "Immortal - Withstand the fall of time" "Taake - Myr"
I discovered PWD with Ire and Reverence and then explored the back catalogue. I understand why people wouldn't like the different style, but I still love Bottom Feeder, Vice Grip, Crushed and Shadow Boxing.
imo they peaked with Deep Blue and Atlas. Ire had some songs that I liked but I couldn't dig their newer stuff....its like they regressed, not only instrumentally but also lyrically....
Yea, in reality I think most people have one band they like that makes a big mainstream change and it's hard for them to get into the new music. I get people liking the new music, just too hatd when this is what you are used to.
YES!!! My favourite Song by them, simply love it. Shame they don't play that live any more. Also, something that I think Judson would really enjoy is the Instrumental Miasma by Ghost or Con Clavi con Dio/Ritual from their first album. Loving the content!
Speaking of Australia, Psycroptic could be a fun one. Would be interesting to do an old track and a later one as the sound changed pretty noticeably. Joe Haley is such a cool guitarist. Judson's musing about taking in unpredictable songs as art instead of genre things make me more curious for when you guys get to some dissodeath stuff. Still can't decide whether I think he will like it or hate it.
I think it's the first time i saw you in a shirt with words i can read clearly 😂 It's funny how Judson is just recently being introduced to metalcore when i think it's one of the gateway genres to metal, i think. Next to nu metal. Haha
@@FancyPrimate I can totally see that, lots of timing for different things and the drums on it is so wild and different each break in the singing, I can see how it’s a great learning song. It’s also decently mellow at times too, not like through the fire and the flames kind of insane
Thanks for doing an older parkway track. So much heavier than newer stuff, it's the reason I fell in love with them
Karnivool is another great Australian band!
@@cheeser164 Destroyer 666 !!!!
Carrion is a real word - it's another term for a carcass / dead animal.
"The front fell off" - one of the best skits from Clarke and Dawe.
There is also the Carrion Beetle which you can typically find feeding on dead animals
August burns red - Meddler would be such a treat I think :)
Unearth!
Love this album to bits, Carrion, Idols and Anchors or Horizons would’ve been perfect to show as well
As an aussie, that accent was bloody well done mate
A comment by which I am most moved! Thank you for hanging out with us!
That was cool. And Judson's South African accent was spot on throughout.
journey to the end - windir
this thing is ethernal

I still loved Atlas, and I liked Ire. After that, I don’t listen anymore. Deep Blue is one of my favourite albums ever.
Please show him Twelve Foot Ninja-"One Hand Killing"! It would make my day!
Boneyards is breakdown heaven
Get him some Horizions, Idols and Anchors, and Romance is Dead!!
Please please have Judson watch the live version of Wild Eyes, it’s soooo good
Also some August Burn Red and please for the love of god have him listen to Six by All That Remains 😊
Awesome hairstyle the pianist man
Ils ont tellement évolué depuis 2007
Oh hell yes
Is this Judon's longest intro? Love it.
The bands Skinlab and Dry Kill Logic would be so cool to see judson analyze
I’ve been waiting to see a parkway reaction
Fuck yeah

This song goes hard! You guys gotta do more Trivium, preferably from Ascendancy or Shogun.
Unearth - Zombie Autopilot
Attack Attack - Stick Stickly.
The “I don’t know d!ck” really caught me off guard and I spit My water out

Make Them Suffer, also from Australia, would be fun to see 🤘
This was peak parkway drive. Now they are a different band
As far as it concerns me - a better one! Darker Still is probably the best metal album I've heard in years!
This is Peakway Drive

@@Marduk567 Last Bloodbath album has better songs than Eaten

i think the mojority of parkway drive fans thinks that after atlas they just went straight in down hill

Day 9 of requesting Diablo Swing Orchestra. "Balrog Boogie" or "Voodoo mon amour"

Ppllllleeeaaasseeee do Idols and Anchors from this album next!
your aussie accent makes me feel like im not doing justice to my aussie pluggas haha gotta step it up :P
Another great metalcore song is The Great Dividers by Unearth! 🤘
Recomended Angel of Revenge from Vision Divine band. This song have all you need for another heavy metal discovery road inprovement 👍
As i lay dying? Anything from them
SHADOWS FALL!!!!
Heh, 'Heartwork' by Carcass, introduction to heavy-metal continue
Windhand - Grey Garden
Chat Pile should be next
This song hella damn good!!! This is the ONLY song I like by this band!!!!
Ohhh rehab..
He needs more blankets!
He needs less blankets!
He needs less and more blankets!!! 😂
Metalcore og tune
Ever listen to From A Second Story Window?
PHANTOM OF OPERA - NIGTHWISH / LIVE VERSION
You should react to Cynic. The song Veil of Maya is a good start.
I wonder if Judson would like Insect from Spiral Architect (progressive metal, that has know musicians from other metal bands)
Please show Judson Veil of Maya and August Burns Red. Thank you.
Oooh, trying out some metalcore? That means As I Lay Dying (2005-2007 era) is somewhere near 😏
Please react to Emperor "the loss and curse of reverence" live in Wacken 2006

Dark Tranquillity Through smudged lenses or Focus shift or anything 😂
Focus shift that triplet feel chorus with the keys floating on top of a sea of guitar noise fkin GOES
@@doctajuice I am all about the riffs , keys are good but not mandatory
If you want to give Judson something newer... ORBIT CULTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man I clicked this so fast when I saw it!@
You should listen to Black Sabbath - War pigs, it’s considered the start and pioneer of metal

I totally agree that boneyards is the better song between this and Carrion, but Carrion is only second to this.
for one whole second I thought the intro was blue by Eiffel 65
Fun fact as savage as Australia is... we had the women's right to vote 20 years before USA
Hello guys✌️React please to Lorna Shore - Soulless Existence
speaking of good australian bands, check out be'lakor.
Now Parkway Drive are a total different Band. Listen the last album. It's awesome.
Parkway Drive -Ground Zero
metalcore? no, thanks.
Then why are you here?
The Exile, Pt. 2 - The City of Destruction by Slice the Cake would be amazing
