I saw it in gaming Magazines (EGM and Game Fan) in 1993 but when I saw it and played in the arcade it quickly became one of my favourites of that year. Samurai Shodown 2 is definitely is the best of the series for me and one of the best fighting games ever

Sports arcade games were very popular, and that year saw some of the best NBA basketball games, in my opinion. Perhaps I have some bias towards RUN & GUN since it was one of the arcades that I enjoyed the most. It was impressive, with graphics that were among the best you could see at that time, especially for sports games. Additionally, you could play with up to 4 players simultaneously.
