- There are many arcade games that we didn't have the chance to play in their time, I call them "the forgotten and hidden arcade gems", I'm sure most of them you didn't play in arcades. This video I make a selection of the 125 games of the first season of the "Old School ARCADE" collections
The purpose of this video is to show very unknown and very difficult to find arcade games, which makes it a video with a very high educational value and also for the preservation of the video game.

Hay que reconocer el esfuerzo de hacer este recopilatorio que hay que decir que es muy impresionante. Muchos juegos que no conocía y que pienso probar y lo peor de todo poco tiempo para hacerlo.
Muy de veras quisiera volver a ser el niño de 9, 10 años que acostumbraba "vivir" en las maquinitas para viciarme con estas verdaderas joyas, solo que esta vez pediría tener un mero conocimiento en emuladores de arcade. Cuando la preocupación nomás estaba en completar las tareas escolares en tiempo y forma y asegurarte de llevar una buena higiene bucal! Brutal este aporte! Millones de gracias!

Wow, que tremendo trabajo. Algunos los conocía y otros los habia olvidado completamente (como el del prehistórico que tiraba boomerangs). Recuerdo que en mi ciudad habia un local que tenía puras joyitas raras, también tenian los populares Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat, Fatal Fury, luego el KOF 95 etc, pero era un local ENORME (ya me imagino cuánto deben haber pagado en arriendo), y habia un sector donde estaba lleno de joyas más de nicho, juegos de Banpresto, Atlus (mucho antes de la época de los Persona), Psikyo, joyitas raras de Capcom, Kaneko, Jaleco, etc. Puras joyas ocultas al igual que este video!

Muy impresionado la verdad, soy fan de los juegos mamé, viví la época y llevo años perfeccionando mi lista de juegos, a día de hoy pensé que tendría todo lo mejor. Pero viendo este vídeo hay como 20-30 juegos que no conocía. Gracias por este aporte a seguir ampliando lista de juegos.

Gran recopilación y lo mejor es que MAME tiene un catálogo suficiente para hacer varias docenas más.
Buena lista, jeje! Yo suelo hacer portables de un único juego para aquellos que suelen tener el recuerdo del juego de su infancia, ya que con recopilatorios o listas corro el riesgo de que sea más subjetivo, jeje! 🙂

Great video, I don't suppose you know an Arcade Game from the middle to late 80's sort of an action platformer ( or side scrolling ) where some of the enemies looked like ninja's carrying bombs That's all I can remember, I have been trying to find it out for years

I'm trying to recall a game I loved at Chuck 'E' cheese as a kid. It was only three stages, Oriental temple format, all the fighters came out of sliding doors. There were a few power ups. Like a green ball that would wrap around you. Each stage had a boss that appeared out of the door at the top of the temple. Would of been in the mid 80's.

Mame aún debería mejorar para leer Roms y sus respectivas placas o bios... Pero en si es el mejor emulador que eh probado
Llevo años buscando un juego que es similimar a jugar un pacman , pero enfrentando insectos roboticos ..
Eres una especie de soldado montado en una moto que dispara..
Y en la parte final hay un enfrentamiento con el final boss en una especie de cinematica..
El juego es muy divertido y dinamico
Like many people in the comments, I also didn't know these games. I think maybe Popcap copied their Zuma game from Puzz Pop, or maybe I should say that they took inspiration from that game. Anyway, I think PopCap did a better job and perfected this kind of game. I wonder how many israelis 🇮🇱 are watching your channel and subscribed. Thank you for showing all these games.

Toda una joya, tremendo trabajo amigo, me puedes decir que filtro usas para que se vea así de hermoso?
De filtros hay un poco de todo, ya que durante estos últimos años he ido cambiando, pero la mejor opción para una cabina es el HLSL, es la que más se puede configurar. Y otra opción sería el crt geom deluxe, es más simple pero las últimas versiones del MAME añade algunas opciones muy interesantes.

Buena selección, como siempre. Me gustaría saber qué configuración de shaders estás usando para simular el efecto CRT.
Al ser un recopilatorio he ido utilizando diferentes shaders en cada episodio. Al principio me gustaba mucho el HLSL, incluso creo que es el mejor, pero al utilizar diferentes versiones del MAME y las configuraciones no se guardaban, me pasé al CRT_geom_deluxe, que quizás sea el que más me gusta utilizar. También mezclé el Reshade con el Crt_geom_deluxe, pero esta opción también la he descartado ya que hay algunos juegos que no suele quedar bien.

Alguien recuerda un juego 25:48 que eran unos como soldados que traían como un radar en ojo que te metas a unos agujeros negros y te cambiabas de misión abia unos que te regresaban asta el principio como si fueran del futuro o viajes en el tiempo el juego para jirar las armas debías girar la palanca los 360 grados

En el MAME van todos, pero algunos pocos necesitan el rom actualizado de las últimas versiones del MAME.

Never heard of SWAT Police so I checked it out. Pretty fun Operation Wolf/Cabal style game even if they completely stole levels from Burning Fight and the map from Fatal Fury 3.
