The other cooling fan relay is actually in front the white assy, not inside. You remove the wires going into the fuse distro then lift up the black wiring harness connector (two tabs pinch and pull up.. its below and barely visable)
My 2009 Nissan Altima has a very hard brake pedal and when I press the start button everything comes on the lights the fan and the raido etc expect the car because the brake won't go down
I replaced my fan assembly and the brown relay. Still won’t get power to the fans to turn on at any point. What should my next step be? Try to replace the fuses? I suspect that at one point while I had engine overheating issues a handful of times, the fans overworked to the point of something blowing out. I assume it’s a fuse, which I have yet to replace. Any input?? What could it be??
Behind the fuse cover it says that there are 2 more fan relays by the lower side of the box. I could not see them. There are many cables by there. Do you know what they are for?
As far as I know they should. In fact I came to findout about it,, my radiator fans work well, but whet I turn my AC ON, they dont rise speeed.. can some one help to know which relay should I check or change?
@@malditapublicidad The best thing to do is replace both of those relays - the brown #3 - I bought that on eBay $20 - it's a NTK WVE 1R1559 and the black one that's smaller (#2) I got at Advance auto - it's a Car quest RAA 1745. This one is really hard to find. There are 2 locking nubs on it that you have to Dremel off, then it fits perfectly. $37 on that one. Then my fans worked on high speed. If the 2 relays replaced doesn't fix it, you may have to buy the IPDM (the white fuse box). Get it on eBay used $34. The Nissan dealership wanted $900 with tax. It's plug and play though, you don't have to program it and it's easy to install.
how long should we wait before they turn on? I had Altima on for 10 mins, then turned on the ac full blast (hot) and I couldn’t get the fans to turn on.

@@gtrodz23 if not that you might just need new fans if they don’t turn
How do I know the relay for the fan inside the base, because I have a problem with the fans, only the HI works at a temperature of 213F.102C
Thanks man. I need to check all my relays first.

Turning on ac will automatically turn on fans and disqualify fuses or relays being bad
