Wearing Short Sleeve with Gloves during cold weather is cool (literally). Long sleeve jerseys all year round is cool.

Diadora Brazil came in red blue and white. They were very popular. Di Canio wore green and white boots as well as gold boots for Celtic back in 96.
I grew up in the early 90s watching short shorts and so hated baggy shorts with furious passion of a thousand suns and I still do.
