I’m in the middle of stripping a 31’ 1972, with a mint interior, but a wrecked exterior. Thanks for the tips, and the encouragement that it’s manageable !!!!!!!
Great video. One suggestion though, never put your polisher pad down on the ground. If you pick up any grit it will transfer to the aluminum and scratch it.
Actually I wish I started polishing first phase before removing the interior skins and end supports. That way I’d have more support while pushing against the interior framing while polishing. The more rigid the better IMO
My interior is 80% done and I'm just starting to polish... I think I am about to find out why people do the exterior first. LOL Great video JG!! I am feeling less overwhelmed by what is ahead of me!
Thanks for sharing this - you’ve put together a great video series. Thanks.

Awesome! What’s the history that gave you a mint interior and trashed exterior? Thanks for sharing and good luck on your project.
Thanks for posting the video. Would have liked to have seen a printed listed of tools and product.
Could use the list as a shopping list.
Thanks for your help!
Great video, but I wish I knew more about the product you’re using🙏
love your music!
Thanks!

dude this is gonna be epic
Does anyone polish a brand new Airstream? I LOVE the mirror look.
The newer coatings don't strip with a liquid stripper so they need to be sanded, it gets expensive I charge 100 to 200 per foot
Funny how everyone does the outside first. I’m planning the same thing even though it makes no sense.

@@JimGramataGoAlumina interesting. So you suggest doing the exterior strip and polish first? In your experience.

Your method leaves swirls - passes two and three should use a random orbital polisher like a Cycle
