Human Speed Detection Project

This project allows us to record human speed with accuracy using ir sensors and microcontroller. It is a very useful application for measuring human speed for personal speed measurement of for sports events.

is there any way you would be able to detect the speed from an upwards/falling motion and have that react with a trigger if it hits a certain speed

+Nevon Projects the reason I ask because I have a project that I want to do, that will deploy a cushion when it detects an object falling at a certain height or rate of speed
