I love how his iPod has an M.2 SSD and my gaming PC doesn't.
If you use a SATA M.2 like he did, there isn't any reason to use it in a desktop, since a regular SATA SSD will perform just the same, while being cheaper than the M.2
Joseph Still this isn’t entirely true, there are m.2 drives that are faster by a large margin, but most the time a sata ssd drive is sufficient

I have an old laptop ssd kicking around somewhere and that will be going straight into my newly acquired iPod classic once that is delivered and fixed up. i have to get an iflash board to plug it into. Brilliant that I can use old part that I thought I’d never get to recycle ♻️. I was going to go for an ali express green CF card but balls to that!

Been using iFlash stuff in my iPods for a few years now, it's wonderful. Haven't had a single issue (caused by the board at least) which is rather impressive for a niche product like this. Seriously, so happy those guys make these things for us.

I used them to mess with my Xbox one controller and it helped pretty well, these videos are the reason I even tried to fix it in the first place, it gave me the confidence to do so

As someone who has never owned a single iPod, this channel has made me now officially say: Damn, I wish I had owned an iPod.
When I was 15 i got my first mp3 player (a generic no name one). Since that I allways used dedicated MP3 player (I don't like listening music on phone). At April I found DankPods. At May I bought a dead iPod and restored it myself using DankPods video as "how to guide".
Trust me, it's worth it even now.
