- Six Senses Resort, located at Krabey Island in the Gulf of Thailand, on Cambodia's south coast. A private wooded Island surrounded by beautiful waters - a tour during my stay in an Oceanfront Pool Villa. The beaches, the pools, sunset in the bar, breakfast and dinner. Great Resort.

For some reason your videos were not coming up in my recommendations for a while but happily this did. I love this place along with your style of video. First thing I would do here is get one of those rocking chairs from the library and bring it on my deck. There I would spend 80% of my waking hours rocking away looking at my surroundings while listening with my 160GB Ipod classic. Hope you are doing ok without the normal travel and sports and looking forward to your future adventures!
This resort is looks like a wilder and junglier version of FS Koh Samui~
Not so sure about how they keep up with good maintenance for the villas..
and also could be a nightmare for the elderly people.
How was it? Plus, I didn’t hear you mentioning the price. How much per night?
yah is similar to FS Koh Samui - this is a much smaller island - like 300m x 100m - so a private island and more secluded. they have 2x a day villa turn down service - like a new home twice a day. the hills/steps not ideal for elderly. the villa I stayed paid usd 900 (they had a flash sale - I'd held the booking at usd 1500 - standard rate). overall - amazing place, really good...

Six Senses Krabey is very good. Pullman Maldives is a new resort which gets good reviews. All 3 you mention are good places...
Hi Mr.K - great video as always. I’ve been looking for travel advice and you instantly came to mind. Ive been travelling Asia in recent years but never solo... want to do some more travelling this year; Hong Kong is on the list. Can you suggest anywhere else good for budget solo travel yah... I know budget hotels per se ain’t your thing haha... cheers
budget solo travel Asia - (1) except for luxury 5 star hotels, most places have decent well priced accommodation in safe areas (2) budget air travel is available everywhere (3) except for pure beach resorts like Maldives you'll have the opportunity to meet ppl. other than that everywhere is fine, you've seen the places I go to right. happy travels...
When it hot out there in February or March when you went? The flash sale how did you hear about it was it on the Six Sense website or did they email you? Also what airline did you fly on to get out there? Thanks for beautiful video!
tropics are generally hot all year round - occasional rainshower. don't worry about the weather. the flash sale - i was sitting in a taxi on iPhone expedia app just randomly checking prices - bingo saw the sale and booked. i flew to phnom penh with silk air coz air asia cancelled the flight to sihanoukville. sihanoukville is the nearest airport with direct flights from kuala lumpur, ho chi minh city and maybe bangkok
