Thank you Mimi, for your generous mindful beautiful teaching. I love your descriptions and visuals that you create for us. I am full of gratitude and optimism.
All of your videos are so very invaluable to me as I cannot afford proper training at this time. Thank you for your generous of such a long posting that I will be able to work on for some time!
Thank you Mimi. I enjoyed this gentle practice that made me feel very calm and relaxed. I love how you educate us throughout the practice and speak the original Chinese words. So beautiful.
Dear Mimi, you tube came up today with this practice, just at the right moment, because I feel a lot of stress and fear today. I do the five elements I learned from you every-day now, and this one also feels very good! It will take some time to learn it so I can do it in a natural envirement with earth and trees and sun and wind around me which feels even better! Love, Marjelle
I love the way you talk people through this form. Your explanations - including the accompanying visualizations- are excellent. I learnt this form years ago from Master Wing Cheung and have been doing it pretty regularly. His version is slightly different and a couple of the moves are in a different order, but it is essentially the same form. I never get tired of it and find that different teachers can sometimes add insight into a movement that I’ve been doing for years, by making me understand some of its aspects even better. Thank you for your video!
Excellent!! I have all the original 18 forms discs by the creator of this style. Yours is way more detailed and clearly demonstrated. I stopped doing it years ago, but you have rekindled my interest! Just ordered your DVDs through Amazon. Thanks so much!
I'm so grateful for your teachings and sharing. Not only are the movements parts of bodily wisdom but your descriptions are full of wisdom too. Many thanks!❤
C’est l’air sur ma peau et autour de moi qui vibre davantage durant la pratique . J’attends avec impatience les 18 forms avec Mimi que je suis également sur yt. Merci pour tous vos excellents partage ✨ 🙏🏼 ✨
Mimi Thank you so much for this timely (for me) video! I realize now that my practice has become sloppy and speedy doing it on my own, this beautiful instruction has made me realize this. So grateful to practice with you! thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Your form is the best I have encountered so far. However I am finding it hard to inhale and exhale the full length with some of the forms and find I speed up in line with my breathing. Is that the right thing to do? This morning I double breathed looking at the sun one as you move so slowly.
If you let the form follow the rhythm of your breath, you may find that after a couple of minutes of practice your breaths slows down automatically , and it may all of a sudden match the instructor”s. If not, don’t worry too much about it: as one of my other QiGong teachers always says: there’s no wrong way of practicing QiGong, there’s just “good, better and best!”
With this practice and I go into a center you breathe in through your nose and breathe out everything out of your mouth like the movie in The Green Mile took a seminar the last weekend of September in Sedona get rid of the crap by breathing it out very ahhh
In Taiji Qigong Shibashi specifically, breathing is done with inhale through the nose and a soft exhale throughout the mouth. The soft exhale should be done in a way that would not move a Kleenex if it was in front of your mouth nor would it extinguish a flame from a candle. So soft natural exhale;e through the mouth. This way is harmonizing the Qi. Only in and out through the nose will have a more energizing effect which can create excess. Strong exhale out the mouth will be dispersing the Qi which can be tiring.
I am grateful for Shifu Kuo-Demmer :)

We are loving this. Question: Does one breathe a particular way: through nostrils? mouth?
