Some high level players do buy two boots on certain heroes these days, but the second pair is usually a late game boot like BoB picked up for the value of its active instead of rushing two of the same boot...

When I first started playing I thought you would need them or you could stack.took maybe 1 game to figure it out.

I remember buying battlefury for bone clinkz when i was kid. Then someone shouted whos this clinkz with a battlefury in the internet cafe.

yea, at some point i do miss my good ol' 1.5k mmr 2015 days, much simpler times, nothing much to think about in game, just straight up go ham towards the enemies lol
@@wyvern5400Yessss. I was a Herald too but now in Archon bracket. There was something in Low MMR games that is exciting, and you wouldn't know what will happen in the next moments. Everything is a surprise. Good ol days
That happiness comes at the cost of being clueless. I remember spamming Drow when I first started playing and rushing tranquils into rapier, then wondering why I kept losing the rapier when I died. Then, my friend who encouraged me to play started getting tired of me playing like that and showed me how to actually itemize and play the game.
AH yes, i remember my Razor pos 5 spam. Got a 12 win streak for that. I built blademail + mek every game , just rushing enemy hard carry wiht link and pop blademail then heal. Enemy carry ended up with no damage and me dead. Worth it

Buying multiple items is game's fault sometimes. I quickly click on buying buttons from quick shop thing or whatever it is called and buy accidently 2 same items and for example it is yasha if I have the 450 shit and click fast on 1000 swords and recipe, game bugs and I buy 2 swords.

Everyone here in the comments making fun of this, but even at very high MMR games, there is still boatloads of silly stuff going on that is deciding your games. That's why I stopped playing. While my team was doing something stupid and should "cost us the game", I learned to stay because the other team probably has something just as dumb happening with them. Even if one team grows an advantage, if you properly defend and extend the game, the likelihood that the other team overextends and flips the game is also there. Eventually I understood this: I played Dota2 with the outcome being a bet between which team would have the bigger throw or mistake. My impact, was there, but minimal compared to how bad or good the decision making was for either team. And no one listens to the support role (I usually played) despite the fact that in competitive/professional Dota it's usually a support player that maintains the best grasp of overall game state and makes team play calls and decisions, regular ass players online pretend like it's the carry because they have the most farm.
The carry/cores is an idiot who only knows he can probably beat enemy heroes with one or two support spells covering. Never considering what it takes to create and enable that situation and blaming others for not magically making it happen. Also never considering if that may not be the most secure path to victory -- maybe a push here or there is better. Maybe securing roshan. Maybe even farming and making space on the map for supports to do their thing.
Ugh, you can tell I'm triggered. Noobs don't know this. But in the grand scheme of things, 99.99% of the Dota games are full of stupid ass mistakes and decisions solid players could point out, and at the same time make all the time.

I don’t understand I need 200 hours to play ranked put that into context. to get a commercial pilots license. You only need 250 hours.
A lot of herald games seem like a bunch of people who pretty much know how the game works, but don't care. This just seems like genuinely new players.

Where are these games coming from?? I played war3 DotA competitively and just hopped into DotA2, placed into herald. I'm pretty impressed with the general level of skill in most games - it looks like a real game. One in 3 games or so have some incredibly questionable plays from a couple players but people aren't *this* clueless. Am I just seeing the difference between the bottom and top of Herald?
EDIT: I'm playing more after being placed - people are actually idiots and these games are incredibly easy. I think the games I got when getting used to the changes were higher level.
