  • July 23, 2022 Bluefin Tuna Fishing out of San Diego. About 30 miles south of Mission Bay near the 425. Trolling high speed Nomad Madmacs at around 12mph, pulling lures through breezers and foaming bluefin tuna. Had 5 bites, landed 2 nice grade bluefin. Left Mission Bay at 6am, back by 2pm. Fish were caught on a Talica 25 with 100lb braid and 80lb fluorocarbon leader with a Seeker OSP 3x rail rod.

    Those hooks have small barbs on them. I changed mine out. Thanks for the video.

      Good tip! I swapped out the back hook with a 5/0 4x Owner treble. Heard that it cuts down on missed fish.

    Nice fishing! Is it better to store the fish with skin on? I see you vacuum sealed the meat with skin on. Thanks

    Good on ya boys. Keep it in gear and wedge it to one side in a large circle and it will go even better.

      Thanks for tip! Been experimenting with keeping it in gear after the first fish is hooked to try and pick up another.

      I put Owner 4x 5/0 treble on the back with the stock rings. Just kept stock hook up front.

    What size line are you using?

    • @Twotalesfishing
      @Twotalesfishing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      100lb braid to a 10ft 80lb fluoro leader for the madmacs
