Simon you're the reason I ever started to use houdini 5+ years ago! Thank you for always sharing your amazing work.

Great material, thanks! 04:00 - Just quick tip: Instead of this loop you can just: Expandgroup SOP: 'outside' (with 'flood fill to connected geo') and then delete this new group.

the trippy 90 degrees looping ones are so cool, would love to see that at a film/animation festival compiled together into one short

I seriously can't believe how little vex is used. Super impressive stuff!

Have to add annoying clarification: VOPs is the same thing as VEX, just in a visual way, the backbone for both is exactly the same. And some people find it harder to use visual style, sometimes it is harder. So it's not about complexity or difficulty it's just about personal preference, he is using the same principles as all VEX heavy people do. So, to summarize: you can do without typing the code, but not without code at all.

Derealization made me take on houdini more seriously after repeatedly attempting it for 2 years. Thank you Simon!

SideFX why do you prioritize Vimeo that much? This was released 3months ago there....
From a user perspective Vimeo is worst on every level (I was a huge advocate in their first years but what is has become is very sad)

True. TH-cam is much more fluid.

It was just an oversight - we typically publish to both channels at the same time. If we had to choose one over the other we'd go with YT - agree it's better.
