    11:24 Mate, can't you just reposition the arms backwards, slide them down the pipes so you can have more room on the front, and fasten it properly? Or are they fixed?

      They're fixed, I couldn't remember for sure if they were while I was filming which is why I didn't mention it, but yes they are riveted such that the arms can't slide.

    Thanks!!! At 16:54 the front wheel is still sticks out like in Freeride? So the clamp is still not under the wheel like on FreeRide. Or am I wrong? The installation of the Proride is obviously simpler, but the result is about the same in terms of frame geometry.

    Thanks for the video. Very good and now I know what to choose.
    I will recommend using the straps holders for not getting problems when you put the bike on. You can slide the straps into a special (I don't know how to say it right) spot'. It is on the opposite way from where you put the bike. It is much easier like that. You can see it at 18:05 and is in the direction of you index finger.
    My bad for my sloppy english but hope you understand.
    And of course the 598 has a spot' too.

    Thanks for taking the time to put this video together! I had the same question: save money (about 100 € in my case) or go with the ProRide. I already have my road bike on the ProRide 598, mounted on Wing Bars, but I wanted to purchase 2 more holders for my wife's road bike and my son's hybrid bike.
    After watching your video, I might go with 2 ProRides (or at least one of them). For me, it comes down to the ease of use + future-proofing this system in case I purchase a carbon bike or travel with my old MTB.

    This video is amazing! It’s my first time getting a rack like this and I had no idea what the real difference was between the models. You saved me because my bike would not have fit on the Freeride that I was looking at.

    You can adjust Freeride arms length, I had the same problem with my other bike and fixed it by repositioning the clamps.

    My 29er mountain bike fits on the 532 absolutely fine

      Oh really, interesting... I think it depends on the exact geometry of the bike.

      What model have you got that fits? I have a cube aim pro 2021, would it fit?

    Can you move/slide the holding bar of the Free ride? The front wheel is too far out / extends outside of the long tube. Maybe with a hammer?

    • @spinningtrue
      @spinningtrue  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't have the rack anymore but my recollection is that the holding bar is fixed but the mount at the back can move. You might be able to move the front holding bar with a hammer, I'm not sure.

    A slightly different angle would have been better to show off how the clamps look like. It is like demostrating a flat TV from the side. Nevertheless the added information was very helpful.

      @@spinningtrue After your video and comparision between bikes I know that I want 598. Only one thing is missing for me. I would like to transport kid bike with 20inch wheel. I hope it will handle it

    • @spinningtrue
      @spinningtrue  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MichalNienartowicz That is a good question, I don't know the answer to that but hopefully there is enough adjustability that it would fit.

    You don't need trick with wheels and straps. There are holding pockets for the straps from the outher side, when its unlock.
