There are several abandoned cars out there, but not all of them are special like this car, a Volkswagen Beetle or Beetle, you can call it anything, but we know it's a relic! It's for viewing purposes so that we the viewer see the pressure washers spray the side of the car clean if they sprayed the top first the water and suds would run down and ruin the shot but ya your right first wash top then work your way down.
Coke and green wash pad will clean the rust from the bumper

There's a lot of similar videos like this and I always feel a bit cheated that the bad bits are just washed and polished rather than fixed.
It's like leaving a job 30 % finished.
Apparently, some people want their cars to be as close to original condition as possible.
Not everybody wants their old vehicle in showroom condition.The ageing and patina on the car can be desirable.
I agree but this is a detailing channel. Now this car is clean enough for someone to do a restoration.
It wasn't the best but the transformation was impressive. What I didn't like was the places you missed and the rusted bumper you just left it
1970 does not have vents right behind the back side windows it can't be older than 1971

Rating 1, effort to clean it up. You put a plastic bag over the distributor, but spray foam and water in the generator opening. This car "Fusca" Portuguese for Beetle. You should have cleared coated it and called it patena, like other people call rust when they clear coat it. Would like to have seen the chassis number and engine numbers. The company Percepcar is located in Brazil . Wonder why they used USA in their name, but that's the start of everything that's wrong about this video. As noted in the comments this Beetle is a Mexican bug most likely, But Mexican beetles had the turn signals in the bumper and not on the fenders if it was a 70's model. With that said the door vent windows are straight like a 64 or earlier beetle had. There are no heater controls or vents in the cabin and no blower ports on the engine shroud. The dash gauges are like older model beetles not a 70's beetle. As also mention in comments the vents behind the rear windows were introduced in 1971. These vents are also to far from the windows as a a production beetle would have. The engine lid does not have the two vented ports that were introduced in 1970. The seats were all one piece not with separated headrest. Where is the voltage regulator, was not on the firewall or under the back see that I could see. You could also see rust on the pan when the break drum was cleaned and see a hole in the pan at the end near the weird looking pedals. The fender beading should be body color as All Bug Sedans had matching fender beading from the factory - from 1961 through 1975, except for the basic 110 model in that last year. Convertibles switched to black beading in 1973. Did they treat the rust on the pan before painting it black. The tail lamps are incorrect for a 70's model, and what was shown are aftermarket smoked tail lights. Not to mention the front headlights. Also the door panels look like home made. Guess this beetle was made from spare parts across the years.

Das ist definitiv kein 1970er..Das ist ein billiger Mexikokäfer. Die Sitze zu modern, die Mexico Rückleuchten, Heckfenster..Dann stand der auch nicht lang sonst wären die Trommeln fest.
