The real question is, why isn't this the knot it comes with?
Human psychology is the reason why.
Nice knot. If only I could remember. 😀
The video should be turned upside down. When you look at your shoes, you're not seeing it from the toe end but from the top end of the shoe. Otherwise it's hard to keep track of left and right.
Great knot. Works well!
And "front and back"
Awesome! Took me a couple tries but I got it! I’ve been cursing my camp moc laces for years - hopefully this does the trick!
Nope. Been wearing Bean slippers for 156 years and nothing keeps the laces from coming undone except liquid nails
Does not work. Laces are not long enough.
I just think it would be nice if they came already tied this way.
I had the mocs about five years ago. Twice. Each time the stiching came apart at the toe. And I could never keep them tied. I swore I'd never own another pair. Then my daughter gave a pair this Christmas. *sigh* Whats a dad to do?
It would be a lot more helpful if the demonstration was done with laces the same length as the ones that come with the moccasins, or better yet sell the moccasins with laces the same length as the demonstration.
That is called the Berlutti Knot.
This is actually Ian's secure shoelace knot! The Berluti knot is slightly different, and slightly less secure than this
im struggling with the front loop back loop section - are there any visuals we can use?
You should film this from the top. in other words from the vantage point of the person tying it as if it was on their foot. It's really hard to follow
Thank you for the feedback. I'll be sure to share it with our developers.
To Whom It May Concern:
What happened to the classic L.L Bean Bear `L.L Bear’?
Underutilized Corporate Icon.
National Park slogan, “Only you can prevent forest fires” and L.L. Bear is a natural crossover correlation to increase outdoor awareness and preservation.
Thank you.
Sincerely & Respectfully,
