I've always found jerky, unnatural movements to be highly unsettling (Silent Hill being a great example). That ending where everyone's eyes fade away to little TVs....and when she starts to cry....
I think this may be the first time I've felt creeped out and sad at the same time.

I was living in NYC in the 1980s when St Vincent was born. This video, the music and the visuals would have been right at home there. She exemplifies the decade of the 80s more than if she was in it.
