There is nothing wrong with Betty Buckley's hair and dress! Bett Buckley was portraying Grizabella in CATS at the time! Most actors and actresses of Broadway dress down outside of the Théâtre! Grizabella the cat has long hair and is scorned and unaccepted by the other cats! The fashion and hair police need to retract their claws!
Then check out her performance of Memory on The Tonight Show. I believe the video is titled: Betty Buckley Memory on Carson from Cats. In that performance of Memory, she sings "Touche me. It's so easy to leave me all alone with the memory of my day in the sun" all in ONE breath. It's huge and effortless. Look it up. It's thrilling to hear.
