@@thegoldengamer9315 correct. The vent appears after SS Charrogg does a big leaping slam that also sets off his poison vents (rather rare attack and most times he does before doing this)
A little but random but I really liked the old dauntless styles ten where you just went to hunt a specific behemoth instead of a bunch of them at a time, I also like that you had to get behemoth parts to upgrade weapons and armor. Now dauntless isn’t as fun to me.
Shock quillshot is kind of unpredictable too, and is hard to know when he is rotating and shocking at the same time, and the shock slide is the most infuriating
You mean Nayzaga. Been using swords recently for fun and always keep your distance at the start or dodge the 1st slide and catch him on the return (shock slide only occurs during aethercharged state and needs a proper ranged interrupt hit to knock him out of it)
as a player that plays dauntless for 3 days now nonstop the ones i hate the most are: Drask, ragetail/flameborn gnasher and the skraev. Also i hate fighting fire behemoths at high lvl cus getting hit with fire once means u burn to death slowly unless u have the cell that gives u fire protection.
well even if they don't target you across the whole map (which they shouldn't and Phoenix labs said the had that patched) it's even still anoying when you are just running past the fighting zone of that arse while someone else is fighting him and you just want to get to some shrooms or flowers cuz u need 'em for potions and he targets you even tho you are not even taking part in the fight...
No Riftstalker, Hellion, Pangar, or Kharabak wasp thingie?? Need to redo this video and include ALL the behemoths. I honestly hate Shrowd. Being poisoned and not being able to see where it is sucks. My fix for valomyr is that whenever your team deals 25,000 damage to it, the entire party gets a 10 second bubble shield which makes you invulnerable to bubbles and lasers
Doesn’t make it any less annoying to get combos on it, as a sword main, it’s hard to get hits on it when it spams stomp and body drop, and hard to dodge it when your mid combo
Agree. Really want Valomyr removed from the game, the person or people who designed it have never played Dauntless and have no idea what kind of game it is.
Bullet hell doesn't fit dauntless, if they want to implement that they need to have interactive mechanics so there's some counter play aside from just hoping you don't get hit
Blaze Rezakiri is so easy that I just can’t see it in L. Get two halfway competent Slayers and that thing will lay on the floor staggered till it’s dead
Why do people hate Rezakiri? I've been playing Dauntless for a month or two, and even though I'm a casual and only just recently got my first legendary weapon, Rezakiri is my favorite behemoth to fight. It's also one of my favorites visually, alongside Malkarion and Shrowd. That being said, Flameborn Rezakiri, while I still like it, can go back to Inkwell Isle with its Cuphead-ass bullet hell fireballs. I main chain blades, so I'm constantly pulling in and pushing out to fight it, but heaven forbid I find one in an escalation while using an axe.
I would like to give Valomyr a L because of its horn......try all methods and never part break its horn, would you like to share a video how to break its horn? I just try to use panger axe and the crystal is on its horn, but when I one shot break the crystal and part break, the part it actually breaks is its head!! completely nonsense!
Yeah, Valomyr's hit box there is completely messed up. I've never got a single apocalypse horn because of this and I have to fight the heroic Valomyr because only he has high enough health for the horn break. Looks like you'll need the mind splitter just to even hit Valomyr's upper horn.
Valomyr is complete garbage imo. I've always hated the fight and hated how he has 2 different horn parts and only 1 drops anything even if you don't break it on the normal Valomyr. I might have to wait until literal endgame just to craft a Valomyr weapon. What the hell phoenix labs? Who's idea was it to base this God awful behemoth on a Japanese horned beetle? And more importantly, how did they manage to screw up the hitbox for the apocalypse horn?
Skraev was a fun fight when it was literally just shrike but white white some new moves, atleast if i remember right. But it was a bit boring looking compared to the version we have now
Personally I like Vallo, but yeah Vallo needs more ways to interact with him, he's very much like say Zorah Magdaros from Monster Hunter World, where the fight isn't all that engaging, unlike a fight like say, Diablos where you break Diablos' horns and the damage it's charge does gets lowered, or Rathalos where breaking the wings, makes it harder for it to fly, or in Dauntless with fights like say Charrog, where you can break the "vents" on it's sides to eliminate it's geysers, personally I'd give Vallo some 5 or 6 floating mirrors to bounce lasers off of, and as you break parts the mirrors get destroyed, making it so that lasers can't be bounced as much, or the mirrors themselves can be damage to cause the laser to reflect back at Vallo to damage him and temporarily break the mirror, and make the corresponding part easier to break, and for each mirror the laser can bounce off of, the laser does more damage, so breaking say the 6th mirror instead of the first to have it reflect back at Vallo will deal more damage, so throughout the fight as the mirrors break and their corresponding parts broken the laser gets weaker, so at the start of the fight it's this one/two shotting machine, but as he gets worn down, it'll start taking more and more hits to do a Slayer in.
Personal opinion, skrave is one if my favorite behemoths. It was the first one that made me have to realise that this game is a bit different than monster hunter with movement and mechanics.
No amount of hate can be enough for Rezakiri and his blatantly nuclear annoyance of a twin. But you left out one Behemoth I'd hoped of seeing here. Scorchstone Helion, for some reason this behemoth along with the Rezakiri twins just ruin my day. It's gotten to the point where I can predict exactly what the Behemoth will do next "Oh no hellion is puking lava next up he rams whoever is in front, oh you thought you'd attack from behind because you saw the ram coming? Tail slap then tail whip. Oh you wanted to hit me? Better crawl into the dirt where I belong so I can rinse and repeat until I'm mad." FML hate him so much
honestly most of those behemoths are pretty fun it feels like monsterhunter meets dark souls honestly if they removed half of the mechs that u dont like the behemoths would be training dummies at best i hope that they dont remove those mech but refine them

Usually when people complain about things like shrowd its because their weapons aren't high level enough. But things like valomyr especially just throw a million things at you and you're expected to dodge them all and it goes from skill to just good like using your one dodge and get hit anyway
No offense but valomyr is pretty easy even on the hardest difficulty, the only problem I have is getting the horn
I AGREE WITH ALL OF THIS THEY NEED TO CHANGE ALOT OF THE GAME
You sir , you just earned a Sub and total gratidute of a person in desperate need of hearing someone to FINALLY SAY how crap is the game situation right now. Trully thank you Dough , you are gonna be the my next Support A Creator 100%
Just go to the r/dauntless if you're SOOOOO desperate for people whining about the game without even thinking before speaking.
Stop talking shit about the game. The only thing it truly needs right now is a Chronovore rework and graphical optimizations.
terra embermane feels like it was made only to have more behemoths with the mounting mechanic
Spore charrogg has it as well but it happens so infrequently not many have seen it
@@craigfunk3453 ss charogg has a mounting mechanic?
@@thegoldengamer9315 correct. The vent appears after SS Charrogg does a big leaping slam that also sets off his poison vents (rather rare attack and most times he does before doing this)
A little but random but I really liked the old dauntless styles ten where you just went to hunt a specific behemoth instead of a bunch of them at a time, I also like that you had to get behemoth parts to upgrade weapons and armor. Now dauntless isn’t as fun to me.
I hate scourgestone hellion too. You have to fight so carefully cuz of the lava everywhere.
And you cant boop it right?
I think Valomyr is worth it because its weapons do good damage in fact I am waiting so I can fight it again
Everyone hating on Boreus
Me hiding my favorite Behemoth’s
can we talk about the quillshot bug in hunting grounds, why in the world should i get hit by auto targeted quills across map, like nani
well even if they don't target you across the whole map (which they shouldn't and Phoenix labs said the had that patched) it's even still anoying when you are just running past the fighting zone of that arse while someone else is fighting him and you just want to get to some shrooms or flowers cuz u need 'em for potions and he targets you even tho you are not even taking part in the fight...
ohdough: hipety hopety your fun is me property
me: haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
9:27
No. 4: you can interrupt it while its shooting its quills
Only when quillshot is enraged.
Can i ask a question where i would find the malkorian
No Riftstalker, Hellion, Pangar, or Kharabak wasp thingie?? Need to redo this video and include ALL the behemoths. I honestly hate Shrowd. Being poisoned and not being able to see where it is sucks. I can't stand Rezakiris either. That is the most unfun fight of all. Vladmyrs aren't terrible per say just do too much damage with their lasers. They could be better for sure.
Pangar is so easy just learn how to beat it u just need to improve and get better
@@thegoldengamer9315 Okay... I only mentioned Pangar in the sense that he didn't rate them. In other words the video feels half assed. I know Pangar is easy to beat I just think the video should have included it.
@@TK3477 this is the worst behemoths pangar is not one of them and it is odoughs personal opinion and hes quite good at the game so of course he would not put pangar on the list

It’s been so long when I last play dauntless
The other way to counter deadeye is to get a ton of invincibility frames from reapers dance on cbs
Dead eye hits me when im across the map
So, is “Plays Repeaters: L” not using repeaters or is it using repeaters?
How do you have the old behemoths Avatar
I called the gasher buckzilla
My fix for valomyr is that whenever your team deals 25,000 damage to it, the entire party gets a 10 second bubble shield which makes you invulnerable to bubbles and lasers
My fix for valomyr is removing the spinny lasers that hit you despite not actually hitting you, not to mention they deal a quadrillion damage
Damn son how the hell are u still surviving in there
Where's Nayzaga? Idk about the current version of that bastard but in the early days he was a tricky one with all the thunder ball bs
Gnashes deserves to be at the bottom, it is so annoying to fight
Nah its not its easy just learn his movements
Doesn’t make it any less annoying to get combos on it, as a sword main, it’s hard to get hits on it when it spams stomp and body drop, and hard to dodge it when your mid combo
This is why I will always say that each weapon should have their own defensive move instead of only having the flimsy dodge roll.
Get two halfway competent Slayers and that thing will lay on the floor staggered till it’s dead
too easy, no point in it existing
He's complaining about the quiltshot he's is complaining about the deadeye version
So it’s annoying that it fights back what do you expect for it to just sit there
Why do people hate Rezakiri?
@@mythicalslugbeam130 you can break apocalype horn from the heroic valomyr? how?
Valomyr is complete garbage imo. I've always hated the fight and hated how he has 2 different horn parts and only 1 drops anything even if you don't break it on the normal Valomyr. I might have to wait until literal endgame just to craft a Valomyr weapon. What the hell phoenix labs? Who's idea was it to base this God awful behemoth on a Japanese horned beetle? And more importantly, how did they manage to screw up the hitbox for the apocalypse horn?
Skraev was a fun fight when it was literally just shrike but white white some new moves, atleast if i remember right. But it was a bit boring looking compared to the version we have now
Personally I like Vallo, but yeah Vallo needs more ways to interact with him, he's very much like say Zorah Magdaros from Monster Hunter World, where the fight isn't all that engaging, unlike a fight like say, Diablos where you break Diablos' horns and the damage it's charge does gets lowered, or Rathalos where breaking the wings, makes it harder for it to fly, or in Dauntless with fights like say Charrog, where you can break the "vents" on it's sides to eliminate it's geysers,
personally I'd give Vallo some 5 or 6 floating mirrors to bounce lasers off of, and as you break parts the mirrors get destroyed, making it so that lasers can't be bounced as much, or the mirrors themselves can be damage to cause the laser to reflect back at Vallo to damage him and temporarily break the mirror, and make the corresponding part easier to break, and for each mirror the laser can bounce off of, the laser does more damage, so breaking say the 6th mirror instead of the first to have it reflect back at Vallo will deal more damage,
so throughout the fight as the mirrors break and their corresponding parts broken the laser gets weaker, so at the start of the fight it's this one/two shotting machine, but as he gets worn down, it'll start taking more and more hits to do a Slayer in.
*what ability is on that sword i need it*
I actually dont have that much trouble with Flame Rez vs Radiant Rez, just more punishing in some ways.
Quillshot spamming its quills at me is just plain...unfun. Despise it.
i dont know when exactly it shoots but if you cut it before it you will have less problem later
I like all 5 of the options.
but the charoggs oof
Personal opinion, skrave is one if my favorite behemoths. It was the first one that made me have to realise that this game is a bit different than monster hunter with movement and mechanics.
This man deaerves more views than this
1:50 A real hunter uses his enviroment to his advantage
If Winterhorn Skraev with that bullshit ass ice orb thing isn’t at least in E tier I’m pooping on your desk
Better crawl into the dirt where I belong so I can rinse and repeat until I'm mad."
FML hate him so much
honestly most of those behemoths are pretty fun it feels like monsterhunter meets dark souls honestly if they removed half of the mechs that u dont like the behemoths would be training dummies at best i hope that they dont remove those mech but refine them
Did something change with volomere cause I have not played in a while and somehow he was my favorite
honestly, i hate all of the spore struck behemoths. charrog would be fine, but if spews its dumbass gas all the time. i swear, after the 30 second mark, more of the fight is it spraying gas than when it isnt
Hey don't hate on McDonald's like that! 🤣
What about not getting chainblades special from boreus?
Nothing is worse than double Owl spawns... Disco Rhino is a piece of cake in comparison.
