@wayfaerer Keith Roscoe has 3 major original bass bodies (Century, SKB, & LG) and has been a pioneer in original design features for 35" scale bass guitars. His contributions to the manufacturing of basses are significant. This instrument simply takes his neck and precision technologies and lays it on "his rendition" of a vintage design. This bass is custom in every sense of the word and I'm really glad to see he's bringing his workmanship to a classic inspired design.
O Lord! How perfect are Roscoes? I miss my LG3000 , kind of perfect , but the whole J bass, Sadowsly thing? They'll make money,I guess. But u guys had your own version of a modern bolt on, this sounds so good though.
previously, I wanted to see another shapes, not Fender shapes, tele, strat, jazz and precision bass, also the headshape. But, now I just accepted that Fender shapes are not just about 'vintage', it has something seriously absolute.
Leo left fender before I was born and I’m almost 40. He went on to Musicman and then G&L where he ended up staying until he passed. In other words even fender is not fender anymore. It’s a company owned by suits who bought Leo’s designs. So who cares?
