    Great adventure good stag well done but might wanna save your destruction opinions to offline, last thing we needs is it referenced by anti hunting groups like invasive species council as it’s been done before that hunters think this way with no real evidence. Fires have cause more erosion and rain discolours water in any catchment regardless. Great country and effort on your behalf tho

      spot on mate. us hunters love our fishing & looking after the bush & waterways. its much deeper than convincing your city mates that your feeding your family etc

    Nice vid mate! But ya don't need to justify shooting a deer by saying they do a lot of damage, you sound like a greeny if you keep that up the government will keep trying to eradicate them and then hunting will not exist in Australia thats the way its headed at the moment. They are a valuable game species that provide a lot of opportunities for hunters and provide dollars to the communites that surround the areas we hunt.

    Watched it but your comments about them doing damage wasn't needed.

    Enjoyed the video but (please don't take this the wrong way) you sounded like you had to justify yourself for shooting the deer. We are hunters and that is what we do. The greens don't need your help coming up with reasons to get rid of them. All animals use game trails, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats and humans. I enjoyed your enthusiasm and the fact that you took all of the meat. As hunters, we need these deer. Well done and I'm looking forward to more of your videos.

    Great stag and hunt but your un founded comments on the damage that deer are doing to the land scape is not promoting the value that deer are to the economy and the enjoyment that many people like yourself get from hunting a introduction valued game species, rivers change colour after fires and floods and the wash off from cultivated farm land ,thousands of taxpayers dollars spent on helicopter shooting is driven by alarmists that love to here any negative comment about deer and if it continues will destroy more than it will gain there are many people that would have every introduction animal removed from the land scape but the most destructive animal that has and is continuing to impact the landscape far more that any deer could ever humans them selves

    Great adventure mate
    Well done
    Hunters are predators, no apologies required. We hunt, kill, eat and share with family, have been doing so since the dawn of man.

    People carrying on about the damage that they do is the reason that helicopter culls are going on.
    They have been here for almost 170 years and the impact has never been calculated but by all accounts it is minimal.
    The only reason you are out there is to hunt them.
    So what are you going to do when they are no longer there?

    Amazing! Congrats! For a newbie like me who’s still chasing my first deer, and who often gets disheartened, this has boosted my hopes of getting my first. Great adventure! Thanks for sharing, and well done! 👍

      Thanks mate, this was May from memory. I actually just returned from the same trip on Saturday, had a week down there this time. No huge stages but it was a great week in the bush with mates

      @@ADVENTURES_ADRIFT awesome what was the river height? Did you see many deer? Or has the culling really put a dent in them? A jet boat would be awesome up that way!

    • @ADVENTURES_ADRIFT
      @ADVENTURES_ADRIFT  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      River was down this time, you wouldn’t get a jet boat in there now. Few deer about but nothing crazy. I think the culling has thinned them out.

      Hey mate, we loaded our meat bags and the head onto the boats. Made for a heavily loaded boat and much harder to manoeuvre but well worth it.
