This Sanders situation is simple. If the money is close between UGA, OSU, & UT; he is going to UGA. It wont be. UGA isnt getting into a bidding war for anyone. If they were, this kid would probably be the one. But Kirby refuses to pay any player more than what the players position coach makes. The Caleb Downs situation is an example. If UGA were to get into a bidding war for someone, it wouldve been him. The money wasnt close for Downs and it likely will not be close for Sanders either. Its not that UGA is strapped for cash. They have plenty of money. Kirby believes in his way of doing things. Paying a 18 year old that hasnt even earned a spot in a rotation more than you pay his coach could easily lead to a toxic environment. UGA doesnt have to risk poisoning its program to win. Presently, OSU and UT feel its a risk worth taking. Call them desperate or thirsty or whatever. Those coaches need results soon or they will be gone. Clemson isnt even in the discussion anymore.
UGA would have taken Sammy Brown. However, he's wasn't a fit for their LB profile. He's better off in the 3-4 Clemson runs. He knew that.

When I was in school the Vols stomped GA ((edit) at GA) and we went to eat breakfast the next day and some middle-aged GA fans barked at us most of the time we were at the restaurant. As they left, they challenged us to fight them outside. We were a group of fit young men, they were clearly old and still drunk. We declined. When they left, the entire rest of the patrons and staff at the restaurant gave us a loud ovation. and the staff thanked us for not whooping that ass lol
