Classification of Variables and Types of Measurement Scales

For quantitative research, it's very important to understand the classification of variables and measurement scales. In this video, I have explained:
(1). difference between Categorical and Continuous Variables
(2). Four types of measurement scales - Nominal, Ordinal, Interval, and Ratio

Amjad, thanks. You brought up an important issues around the number zero. It enabled me to appreciate descriptive statistics. Just because one gets "zero" in their grades. The zero (value) does not take away the fact that the student does not have a grade (property of a feature).

53 and standard deviation of 6. Find the range of values in which at least 75% the
scores will lie.
8. In a moderately asymmetrical distribution, the mode minus the mean is 2.4 the
coefficient of variation and skewness are 20% and -0.5 respectively.

Nominal and ordinal are categorial variables (mainly non-parametric) whereas interval and ratio are continuous variables (parametric).
