New zx6r have different sprocket setup for my usable power in low end. Change it back to the old sprocket setup and I’m sure they’d be the same exact top speed💯
The difference between Cable and drive-by wire .without the ECU being unlocked it be surprised at how closed the throttle blades are versus the hand position being at full throttle.

Just get you a new 636 it has 2 power modes full and low, has traction control 3 levels, leave it on low and traction control on 1 or 2 until your used to the bike
the new motor is more powerful, but is geared for torque instead of top-end like the old one. All you need to do is change the sprockets and slap a new exhaust on (preferably with a tune), and the new one will beat the old with both top speed and acceleration

Nope the 636 will still put paces on the 600 still has more cc and still will be quicker and higher top end
Also the new zx6r have more restrictions
new zx6r top speed was limited by kawasaki, not the real top speed. You can see it reach top speed really fast but permanetly stop after reach 26x
Wasn’t limited they dropped the front sprocket one tooth gave it more acceleration less top end speed but a street killer in all aspects
