I become confuse because in his book "Ambition to vision" tell they we must have Vision not ambition, but this video tell us to not have any goal. Can someone give me explanation of these inconsistent, maybe they have different meaning.
Vision is the thing which doesn't has end point, but whereas a goal has it!
dear other other first be respect urself and write ur name . second mr manoj kumar gangula gives u a perfect reply. am just adding on sadhgurus life path as an example. sadhguru allready once explained a my vision is not able to complete / fully finish in this life time and he knows very well still he is doing what he is doing with intense and full of his life.
it that sense he says dont focus on goal from each n every time mean while the PROCESS focus much more on process. and about ambition to vision .... mr manoj explain perfectly.

He hit Bulls eye straight away. The biggest example I gathered from this discussion is one of the biggest loophole in our education system. The parents and our surrounding society have become so goal oriented that they want us to just focus on marks.And hence the students start mugging up the concepts without understanding anything simply in order to achieve the goal (i.e. marks here).

While I admire and respect Sadhguru, and found this video very inspiring, I still think that goals have an important function. Imagine that you want to write a book. If you do not define this goal explicitly, there will be many things that will prevent you from putting the effort. Goal setting is especially important for things that require long-term constant effort. Our friends, children, partners want our attention all the time. I think that making our wishes explicit makes us more aware about the time we need to allocate to it. I just see goal setting as making what we wish to accomplish more visible.

he's talking about goals being a problem if you focus only on the goal, if you only focus on finishing a book... is it gonna be a good book? the focus needs to be on the writing process and not the finish line.

Namaskaram Sadhguru, I have a question. Basically trust the process means trust the journey. But for a journey to begin, we must know where we are headed, i.e. we must have a destination in mind. So we have to have a goal to begin the process. How does one not set any goals and just trust the process? I did not understand this.
