I just ordered me a fiddle. I hope I learn to play just as great as this guy. Golden slipper, rowed up in a dory and maple sugar and orange blossom special.
I really like Jason's style of playing. Great music tempo for contra dance. Hope to find more of his playing on the web.x thanks for this posting. Excellent audio!`
Very good fiddle playing, Jason. I've been listening to Metis music on TH-cam and enjoying it. I'm originally from Oak Point via Winnipeg and now living in Vancouver, BC. Metis music brings back fond memories of growing up at Oak Point and going to high school in St. Laurent. I attended St. Laurent Collegiate with Yvon Dumont, past President of MMF.
@@steveshasko238 Well hello Steve. How are you? Its been many years since we lived at Oak Point. I often wondered where you moved after Oak Point and whether you married or stayed single like me. I attended St. Laurent Collegiate up until Grade 10 then went to live with relatives at Steep Rock, MB. I attended Moosehorn Collegiate then moved to Winnipeg. I left Winnipeg over 20 years ago and now live in Vancouver, BC. Its nice to have heard from you and hope all is well with you and yours. Take care!
@@fredrichard6386 Hi, doing ok , left Oak Point shortly after getting grade 11 in 1965.Went and worked in Winnipeg until 1971.Moved to Vancouver. Then back and forth between BC,Alberta,Man.Now settled into relationship for 25 years in Alberta
