My daddy used to play Wildwood Flower every time he tuned the guitar. Both he and the old Fender he played on are gone now. Thank you for the memories.

Here it is 2AM on my phone could not sleep I wanted to wake up my wife to have a good dance . But I thought that was not a good idea. So I got off the couch and stepped dance myself. Replayed over and over again. Excellent job. Thanks alot. Ontario!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh boy, those key changes ! What a joy to the ears and that fancy finger picking at the end. I can play this song but only the basic picking part so this was so fun to watch. The little grin at the end..ha.
OMGAAAWWD. Amazing. Who the heck would thumbs down? Just jealous people who can't play squat. Lol. You need to make an entire album...I'd listen to your picking on my drives into town. I am absolutely floored. Bravo.
Please listen to a recent version of Sierra Hull , on a cheap guitar , and Tony Rice's, and Clarence White's ........ hi! from the Alpine region of France !
You have hooked another big fan. I never heard music played as good as this in my life. I have to get my self a glass of Irish whisky. Ireland loves your music.keep it up and let me know when you're over here. You will the pubs and the club's thanks. Mick
I got my first guitar on my 12th birthday in 1959 (still have it). I got it on the condition that I learn my fathers favorite song...... Wildwoodflower. I learned the song and loved that guitar but switched to bass (which I love also) to get in a band in 1964...... played in bands since then but covid handed me retirement so I'm back on the guitars and just made a one-man-band recording of some old instrumentals from back then. Wildwood Flower was one of them. Not great but I'm sure my father was smiling down on me.... and cursing me for wrecking his song. Thanks for posting this....
I love this. You brought back sweet memories of when my dad would sit on the front porch or in the living room and pick this. I would dance and sing along with his playing. Some of the sweetest memories anyone could have. Thank you. You touched my heart.
