- These resin ornaments are just in time for the @miniscenesgb & Crafty TH-camr's United Christmas In July 2024 Collaboration. I started these some time ago using mica powders and #resinpro resin. I did a topcoat with #resiners resin. I'm loving the colors of soft blue and silver with added accents with metallic acrylic markers. Thank you Ms. Wanda, I love you too. I am on holiday going across Canada to my home town. I want to visit my Nana's gravesite. It is on my bucket list. I had a lovely visit with my auntie Anne yesterday who is 97 years old. It was truly a blessed day. I haven't felt that happy in such a very long time. I will be home by the 1st of August. Hope you’re having a wonderful time! I’ve seen a couple of people do those molds, and they turned out pretty much the same as yours. I think you’re on the right track with the topcoat idea. Since they are matte, the colors just don’t pop. One of the ladies I watched put Uv resin on the top, and they looked much better. PS - it’s ok to be thrifty with your supplies; this is an expensive craft!
