Nice vid. I'd say your skills made it work more than anything else. I imagine that narrow spine would tear up a baton, but then who cares, you can always grab another piece of wood. That sheath tho. . . ugh. thanks for sharing this. Fun and interesting!
I have this knife for 2 years. I used it many many times to chop wood.I did a torture test on it like cutting bricks in the half, stepping on it while i stuck it in a tree and of course since im a Hunter i skinned a wild pig with it(that knife shape helped me a lot and i was surprised). The edge retention is not bad but not great.Sharpening is a little bit annoying Couse of it's shape. It may not be the best option but it works haha.
What is that "saw back" for? I need to know or i will flex it off!! And that Beck knife looks like a Fatbike instead of a mountainbike, compared to that Walther osk.
I just bought this one, im living in germany, its heaven for knife selections. This makes a good throwing knife too due to a fairly straight handle,
Thanks for the great review

I agree, a thicker spine helps with batoning a ton. Thanks for watching.

Notching
Can also use the saw back to take hot pots on and off the fire
for better batoning... to prevent the wooden stick from sliding on the knife and for lifting the cauldron(eschus) from the fire with the knife
Cool review
I like the tracker he opened the box with better.
