Cheers from New Orleans!!!! I am retired (75), and a textile artist. I make tiny hats, dolls and tote bags, using castoff fabrics and reclaimed bits of this and that....
I love this channel I'm so happy I found you. I'm a craftsman myself and it's funny I work building houses all day and come home and watch carpentry clip at night 😂😂
This is the greatest channel, I injoyed watching him work. I am a 76 retired veteran. And have a lung problem from agent orange. Love watching...thanks for sharing your skills
This was delightful to watch before bed. Move work on the dovetail too! As long as you feel up to it go love and do anything, clean I the shop, tool maintenance, whatever. I’ve been watching your short videos mostly and find you on the clock app, but I’ve started enjoying your longer videos. Keep it up!
You should watch Adam Savage from Mythbusters and his "One Day Build" videos. Your's reminds me of it. I think you would do well to see how he positions his cameras.
21:45 less tedious your way than mine - I don't have those tools, so it is a straightedge ruler and mech pencil and maths for me, lad. I do need to get some better scribing tools. love your vids - you have skill and a pleasant voice and presentation, and your cheery can-do way of things is utterly delightful.
This can't be a coincidence! I'm doing a carpentry course and tomorrow's project will involve dovetails. bang on, nice work :) how long have you been in the field?
@@Mj-hl7kg unfortunately the machines at our college haven't been working for a while sooo haven't done it yet. I was so stoked to do it after watching the video... guess I gotta wait a bit longer
Odd question for you perhaps, but would you have a recommendation or advice of where to find good size blocks of wood for carving projects, such as Masks and the like? I've been trying to find places that sell such things, but I lack a good direction for such areas. Much appreciated!
Not sure where you're located but I've found that Facebook marketplace is a great spot to pick up wood. Some land owners with recently downed trees and whatnot.

How is it possible for a man to be this damn cool
This is one of my favorite channels on TH-cam to watch. You are very knowledgeable for one so young.
Sorry for missing this live but it’s relaxing to watch still
I enjoy watching your videos when I'm in the shop sanding away!
We love you Eoin❤️
He is a great story teller . He is very entertaining and a talented wood worker using hand tools . 👍🏻❤🏆
I love his videos. He's teaching a valuable trade for free and that's truly amazing
Great video.
I love the old furniture with its dovetail corners.
Damnit I missed the James Bond of birch. The pierce Brosnan of pine. The double O agent of ash.
Now I am sad.
