Love the puppy and the name! My first grandchild named her first cat Cabella and that cat lived a very long and good life. This recipe remind me of German Schichtfleisch; look it up and try it. I;d like to see your twist to it. I used alternating layers of venison steaks and pork steaks, and added peppers.
I just made this for my families Sunday night dinner for 5. Worked great. I do not have some of the ingredients as I live in Ontario, Canada. Made some substitutions, and it was fantastic. Thank you.
02-10-2020. Just made this . The only thing I didn’t have was the can of fire roasted tomatoes, so i used Stewed tomatoes. Man oh man was it good. Thank you for the receipt.
I am going to make this dish soon. I will be doing it on my stove top but will add carrots and celery and like you suggested maybe some peppers and mushrooms. most likely some peppers and mushrooms. looks great as always.
I have done that same thing with a beef pot roast and some mushrooms. Probably your pork shoulder is less dry but the tomatoes probably helped that as well. Anytime I have a pork shoulder, I always want to smoke it. When my wife was still alive, she said that I needed to be more versatile. I guess you are helping me out on that.
Hay I do this dish off and on . My grandmother should it to me and I love your music you had planning to. It brings back some good memories with her thank you for that and I decar it soul food to me .👍👍👍👍👍🤘🙏🇺🇸
Wow, looks great! Cute puppy too! I know it will be the NEW official taste tester. & I loved that sunset scene with that Florida, Spanish moss, dancing in the wind!
Similar to Cajun sauce picquante. This method is good for deer, squirrel, turtle, rabbit. Try adding a little Tasso for that extra kick. Great job and enjoy your videos.
I will make this next weekend . My local Piggly Wiggly has awesome deals on pork steaks or country style pork ribs all the time . For less than $20 I can eat on this for days . Thanks again.
Hi Mr & Mrs B. So happy that Cabella has become part of your family. Is Cabella a boy or girl? The dish looked scrumptious as usual. Congratulations again.
Oh that puppy is the cutest!. I'm thinking that recipe would be great in the crockpot too, throw in some kidney & green beans, pour it over rice and there ya go! Thanks for sharing 🙁
I'm looking to get a couple cast Dutch ovens and pans and grill from lodge can you give me some must haves for a complete cast iron cookware what sizes do you recommend for me??
The last several videos I've watched, you've introduced some really pleasant background fiddle music. I haven't heard it before and really like it. If convenient, please keep it up. This from a guy who spent half his life near Carter's Fold, where fiddles may sound like the Armageddon of cat fights. Many thanks!
Howdy, Thakin' me awhile to get caught up with all you've posted, But I'm gettin' there. Question for ya. How do YOU find that high acid foods like tomato sauces effect your seasoning in the various DOs and other CI ware?
Love your new family addition. Man, that looks bodaciously amazing! Have they offered the ham BTBouilion down there yet? It was delicious. Had it up here for awhile but now I can't find it. The veggie BTB is pretty damn good too. ATB my brother!
I didn’t see you add the Seminole seasoning. I went back and watched it a second time to make sure I hadn’t missed it but I didn’t. Did you add it? Do you add it with all the other ingredients or did you forget?

Question for ya. How do YOU find that high acid foods like tomato sauces effect your seasoning in the various DOs and other CI ware?
I don't worry about it at all since I use my Ci a lot. Just re-season if needed and cook what you want. Thanks for watching.

Looks great. Do you think a 12 Shallow would be ok for this or did you need the headroom the 12 Deep gave you?
That would would work just fiie. Thanks for your support..
Always entertaining
I didn’t see you add the Seminole seasoning. I went back and watched it a second time to make sure I hadn’t missed it but I didn’t. Did you add it? Do you add it with all the other ingredients or did you forget?
It was already on the pork steaks when the video started.
Jerry Copeland got it
Another "Goodin!" Hey Scott, do you have an email with your channel. I know you do but I can't find it. Keep em coming brother!
What’s the closest to “Better than Bullion”? Chicken stock?
Yes, you can use chicken stock as well.
What breed is your puppy? I have schnauzers and she looks like them a lil..
She is a Morkie. Thanks for watching.
You didn't say or show how much of the Seminole Swamp Seasoning to use.
where is yours?
