The god of death is the many faced god, and its many faced because of all the different religions, they think it’s all the same god with many names and many faces
Stannis approves of Jon's decision to behead that guy because Stannis believes that for a leader to lead, he has to command the respect of his men and punish disrespect. If you let someone talk to you like that and then just let him go because he apologized and begged, no one is going to take you seriously; by killing him, Jon showed everyone that when he gives you an order, there are consequences for disobeying, that's what Stannis would have done too.
Stannis was a member of Robert Baratheon's council and stayed in King's Landing until Jon Arryn died. He personally knew Janos Slynt and his corrupt ways, but couldn't convince Robert to give enough of a fuck to execute him or even to get rid of him. So Stannis didn't need the context, since he had wanted Janos Slynt's head for awhile now and he knew that he probably deserved it if someone honourable like Jon was chopping his head off.
You are so much fun to watch, honestly. I’ve started watching your Lord of the Rings reactions while I wait for more Game of Thrones from you. I’m glad you’re enjoying the series as much as you are!
bro I was prob the first to recommend GOT to u back when you were watching Ozark, I'm telling u now after u finish GOT and House of the dragon, Dexter would be the perfect show for u to check out, you'd love it it's in short about a serial killer that only kills other serial killers, its insane, popular and adapted from a book like GOT
You got to the first major detraction from the books in this episode. In the novels, Baelish never marries Sansa to the Boltons (Probably because it's a really stupid move).
Jon saw Ned Behead a nights watch deserter way back in episode 1. Jon learned a leader’s got to chop the occasional head off (and do it himself) to keep his guys in line
Jon had to do it. Someone can't just talk to you like that for do long without dire consequences. Even if Janos apologized , the men should know they'll get beheaded if they disrespect the Lord commander.
Hey there! Not sure if other fans have said, but, the actor that plays Ramsey Snow first tried the role of Jon Snow. Didn’t get it obviously, however, incredible talent when they make your blood burn because you hate them so much!!
5:09 even worse is the fact that in the show tommen is around 16 and margaery is in her mid 20s. in the books margaery is 17 and tommen is 9 but there’s no consummation. still weird though.
31:16 Stannis Does know. He knows Janos Slynt while he was in Kings Landing , in Robert's council. He knows how corrupt and sleazy Janos is and he can see that Janos did something id!otic to deserve that from Jon Snow
The Many Faced God is the belief that all of the gods are the faces of one. Everyone knows His gift, which is life. He gives life and takes it away. Those that drink the poison in the House of Black and White are ready to die. They have nothing left and they give their face for eternal peace. I think it's about fate. Accepting that all men must die and that all men must serve in life and death. That there is a greater unexplainable purpose for everything that happens. As dark as the show can be, GRRM isn't a cynic. He's more of a romantic trying to find meaning in the absurdity of it all.
30:51 in the books during one of Sansa’s chapters while in KL Santos was one of the soldiers that would beat her and she thinks how an honorable man should take Santos head. Three books later Jon beheads him 😂😂😂
2 big differences from the books here: 1) Tommen is only 8 at this point in the books. They haven't (as far as we know) consummated the relationship, but they have already gotten married. 2) the Sansa plot doesn't happen in the books. Without spoiling too much in case you read/listen to the books (highly recommend), in the books instead of being Sansa, the Lannisters themselves give the Boltons someone they pretend is Arya. Doing it this way is stupid because there isn't sufficient motive for Sansa or Littlefinger (and because of that, it makes Littlefinger look dumb as hell), plus it means the Boltons are openly rebelling against the Lannisters whereas in the books this is done to strengthen their allegiance.
Janos needed to be beheaded by Jon for so many reasons. Treason against the King.... BUT ALSO, he DESERTED the Nights Watch in their time of need. Deserters have always been beheaded, Jon grew up witnessing that. This insubordination was just the last straw, and Jon used THAT as the reason to kill him. But, technically, he could have been beheaded with reason prior to it. All 3 things were beheading offenses. 🤷🏼♀️
There is 1 God and his name is Death, and what do we say to Death, Not today. There is 1 god and a Girl knows his name, and all men know his gift, when the High Septon was role playing with the whores one had her hair covering her face, she represented the Stranger from the Seven Gods who represents death, and Death has many faces but is faceless.
i like that you noticed the clearer writing, this turns into a big issue for the show, because the complexity dies off and gets replaced with big moments. it's fun but will never be as witty as it was
Tommen thinking he tore that shit up will never cease to make me giggle XD
Bless Marg’s heart for making him think he’s a dog in the sheets 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
killed me with the pause to do some catch a predator investigation
then he phoned the cops 🤣
give him the luckiest boy in the world award
😂😂😂
Should have called Chris Hanson.
Jorah being at that specific brothel just because there's a Dany cosplayer at that brothel is the most hilarious shit ever 🤣
The execution of Janos made it into my top five most satisfying deaths in Game of Thrones. That worm was living on borrowed time.
Bro not the jokes about Margery xD
that whole sequence with the phone call had me rolling 😂Barry could be a comedian I swear haha
It's very rare that I laugh to a youtube content creator.
The passage with Tommen and Margery, I laughed... ^^
Your Margery appreciation gives me so much joy 🥰 Bc she absolutely is damn good at what she does and deserves her flowers.
Dowager queen. Widow with an inheritance. Rich old lady.
I love you bro, these reaction be funny as hell😭Definitely the best GoT reactions I've ever seen
A MINORRRRRRRRRRRRRRR 🎵
Man. I miss this show I miss Lena Headey (Cersei) in particular. SHE is the Game of Thrones to me 🥲
her and little finger for me 😔
Gotta say this was for sure the best reaction to Jon executing Janos iv'e seen
The god of death is the many faced god, and its many faced because of all the different religions, they think it’s all the same god with many names and many faces
"Sir Allister said, I'm first ranger." 🤣

Margaery knows how to play The Game of Thrones.
Stannis was a member of Robert Baratheon's council and stayed in King's Landing until Jon Arryn died. Wow ok didn't remember this from books but makes sense
You are so much fun to watch, honestly. I’ve started watching your Lord of the Rings reactions while I wait for more Game of Thrones from you. I’m glad you’re enjoying the series as much as you are!
You my favourite GOT reactor 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾😂😭
Here is the real change from the books: in the book, Jorah does hire her.
bro I was prob the first to recommend GOT to u back when you were watching Ozark, I'm telling u now after u finish GOT and House of the dragon, Dexter would be the perfect show for u to check out, you'd love it

You got to the first major detraction from the books in this episode. In the novels, Baelish never marries Sansa to the Boltons (Probably because it's a really stupid move).
Spot on with that Sam No One analogy. When you're No One, you have nothing to fear. When you have nothing to fear, you can kill.
Sleep eludes me always
"By the way...911.....9 out of 10" took me out. We sick of you, too😂😂😂😂
Why don't I remember the scene between Tommen and Margery where it "ends too quickly" ? Must've suppressed it for the sake of sanity 😂
Love your videos
Agree love your content. Btw Lord Barry, about "tears of Lys"...Lys is a place (Essos)...not Lisa! 😂
Season 5 really parts ways with the books. Thought I'd drop these reactions by now but damn you're entertaining. Keep up the great work
Jon saw Ned Behead a nights watch deserter way back in episode 1. Jon learned a leader’s got to chop the occasional head off (and do it himself) to keep his guys in line
You had me lmfao 😂😂😂😂
Yes Margery is good. She learned from the best, her grandmother Lady Olena. The Queen of Thorns is the best!
Olenna said.." I was good... you're better" to Marge awhile ago.
You make me laugh dude 🤣
7:18 "what does she look like? well i fail to see how thats relevant, officer - but since you asked, shes like a 9, maybe a 10 - why?"
i died when
😲😲😲😲😲
and then TITTIES THIS SHOW KILLS ME 😭😭😭
Jon had to do it. Someone can't just talk to you like that for do long without dire consequences. Even if Janos apologized , the men should know they'll get beheaded if they disrespect the Lord commander.
Hooray! Saturday's here and I'm reporting for duty my king! 🎉
16:17 Littlefingers move here is to solidify his control over the Vale, Riverlands and the North using Sansa Stark.
That made my head itchy 😂😂😂
This is where Baelish stops being the book version and stops making sense. He had zero reason to leave the Vale
Hey there! Not sure if other fans have said, but, the actor that plays Ramsey Snow first tried the role of Jon Snow. Didn’t get it obviously, however, incredible talent when they make your blood burn because you hate them so much!!
Margery was SAVAGE
5:09 even worse is the fact that in the show tommen is around 16 and margaery is in her mid 20s. in the books margaery is 17 and tommen is 9 but there’s no consummation. still weird though.
I love Marg☺️ She’s really a G🙌🏾
bro these reactions man XD
If you think Tommen's actor being 17 is bad, in the books, he is like 10 :D
and Margaery is 16
31:16 Stannis Does know. He knows Janos Slynt while he was in Kings Landing , in Robert's council. He knows how corrupt and sleazy Janos is and he can see that Janos did something id!otic to deserve that from Jon Snow
laughed when you did your investigation about Tommen`s age :D
well in the books when he married Margery he was like 9,
The Many Faced God is the belief that all of the gods are the faces of one. Everyone knows His gift, which is life. He gives life and takes it away. "Respect on Jorah for not hiring her..."
Yeah, about that 😂
When you attacked* Cersei 😂😂😂😂
Only he's pretending to be Cersei doing the stabbing.
Age of consent in the UK is 16 (and apparently puberty in Westeros), Marjorie is fine
One of the lore videos explains the god of death, very cool. But he's basically all of them and none of them.
Stannis knew of Janos. Probably liked seeing him go. But yeah, Stannis would probably be cool with any execution really.
100% he wouldn’t have turned around bruh 17:45
Janos sounds a lot like Janus, the two-faced god.
Tyrian's face when Jorah says "I'm taking you to the queen". Tyrian clearly thought he was talking about Cersei.
Yes Margarey marrying Tommen is creepy and sus. But Jorah's stalking love obsession with Daenarys? 🤢 Tell me I'm not the only one creeped out
AIN'T NO WAY this dude got a Huawei Mate 10 Pro LMAO 😂.
I think I got the same damn phone with the same blue case
You’re so dynamic bro😂 you’re an honorable mention of people i’d want to hang out with for a day
Margery knows how to play the long game to get to the top
30:05 Janos also helped kill his father, and kidnap his sister. I wonder if Jon knew about that.
4:43 killed me 😭😂😂
From this point on Peter bealish is pretty dumb bc they changed sansas story from the books in the vale
Janos needed to be beheaded by Jon for so many reasons. Treason against the King.... BUT ALSO, he DESERTED the Nights Watch in their time of need. Yeah Baelish marrying Sansa to Ramsay is where the show's writing starts to really fall off the rails for me
i like that you noticed the clearer writing, this turns into a big issue for the show, because the complexity dies off and gets replaced with big moments. it's fun but will never be as witty as it was
Yeah, the shit writing is becoming difficult to ignore, you can call it predictable in a dumb Hollywood way.
What’s Margery’s favorite (music) key? A minor.
hardy har har.
You did some good Research bruv but you forgot to check English age of concent.
"Musical whores" haha but real talk these reactions are great
Barrryyyyyy
Dayum im early
in the book, tommen is 9 when he gets married!
The directors even planed a hard sex scene for tommen and Margery, but Natalie dormer didn’t want that
Good sh$t😊
HEAR YE, HEAR YE….
Margery, will you please take a seat over there? 🤣🤣
FBI, THERE SHE IS! ☠️
edit: BAHAHA, SHE PULLED THE UNO REVERSE ON YA 🫠
Sansa never married Ramsey in the books, she stayed in the Vale learning how to be a political genius from Littlefinger.
Legend has it she’s still in the Vale to this day.
You are hilarious
Dowager = widow
I’m begging you lol, watch arcane when you finish got, you’ll love it and there’s a second season coming (which is the last)
15:56 Welcome to the dumb and dumber phase, my brother. From now on, you will experience the downfall of the greatest show ever
I’m sorry… you’re YOUNGER THAN TOMMEN???
I'm younger than the actor irl. I'm 26
