We had site 4 several years ago (pre- fire) in our old trailer. I remember this fire (and we lived in Southern CA at the time). So happy to see the riverfront sites survived!
I've been camping there for over 25 years. Last time was about a week before the big fire that destroyed most of Detroit. About midnight one night a tree fell into my tent just missing my head by about 6 inches. Have been back yet, but still love it. Oh, I was in site 7.

The fire was obvious at a few campsites but the ones close to the river still looked good 🙂
