5:32 hey what do you mean by 'UDP can function when network service is compromised'? And great video!

When the network is dropping packets (think weak wireless signals) TCP slows down to a crawl because it thinks the packet losses mean there is congestion. UDP does not have this side effect, so there can be benefits to using it in lossy networks.
