We had to memorize the stupid thing and take a quiz on the entire circle plus all of the sin, cos, tan, sec, cosec, and cotan info in Algebra 2 to help us prepare for precalc. 🙄 its not necessarily hard but its so boring 😂
I had my pre-ap pre-calc 30 final today. It didn't go incredibly smooth, but I still got a 92% and finished the class with a 96.75%!! My advice: - Know the Unit Circle like the back of your hand. [edit] Or at least be comfortable with the basic graphs of sine and cosine as well as the special triangles. Then you can still calculate exact values. - Be comfortable with understanding how transformations manipulate graphs and be comfortable with graphing functions. Desmos can be a lifesaver if you need some form of graphing software. - DO YOUR HOMEWORK!! Its critical that you do your homework in this course or you will fall behind very quickly. - Ask your teacher for help. Your teachers are there to help you. What you don't understand today will create more confusion tomorrow. Pre-Calculus concepts tend to build on top of each other (ex - function transformations). - (from wendy) Be comfortable using your calculator, but dont be reliant on it for everything. It's good to know how to use your calculator perfectly instead of kind of knowing how to use 2 or more calculators. That's really all the advice I have. Good luck to anybody taking pre-calculus!!!
Mikayla Peterson Can definitely support your advice because I just finished the course and let's just say I didn't do so well 😅 and the main reason was homework, so kids DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Plus the whole know the Unit Circle thing, highly recommend, memorize it, it is one of the keys to pre-calc. Honestly I wish someone had given me this advice before taking the class.😏
I took pre-calc / math analysis ( at my high school ) five years ago, but I'm still watching this video because all of your videos are hella inspiring and motivating. Your voice is so soothing.
how do you always post the right videos when i need them most?! i'm taking precalc honors next year and i've been trying to start previewing for the past week,, thank you for this video and have a great day!! #notifsquad
This video has helped so much for my online Precalc class! It's my first time taking an online course, and the course is terrible! So thank you for making this video!!
That was beautiful. Couldn't wait to see what you'd done for math since I have a BS in math.didnt know u did another math video! Shame on TH-cam for taking it down. I like this and the color coding system is a good idea too. Great job! It was so important to memtiom practice problems! Another tip is to write down or highlight the parts of the problem where you messed up if you write the problem out to have a copy of how the work was done just highlight problem areas. But all of your tips are great!!! My University never allowed a calculator so all you guys out there listen to her! She's correct about that lol
I just found out my grandpa died. I was planning on studying after watching this video. I'm still going to, to make him proud from heaven😭 Thanks for your content
I remember my algebra 1 teacher teaching us about the unit circle in 9th grade & I was like ummmm when dafuq will I need this??? I’m going into 11th grade & I’ll be taking pre calc & seeing this video already give me anxiety especially when that unit circle appeared bc I did NOT pay attention in algebra at all
I'm taking Pre-AP PreCal next year and we have calc tests and no calc tests. I already have the unit circle and a trig value sheet printed out that I plan on memorizing even though we technically don't need it til the end of the year. But anyways, thanks for great advice videos!!
Tysm! I'm taking Pre-Calculus this sem and it's the first week but I'm already stressed out with the weekly short quiz. ;-; ... I should go back to my assignments.
This video has made me feel so smart, I'll be a freshman next year taking Precalc and I already know about 50% of these topics, especially the probability part.
Love this video! I'm going into tenth grade this fall and am going to be taking pre-calc, my school doesn't have any honors classes though which makes me kinda sad.
This video is very helpful, I will use your advice, even though I am probably among your younger viewers, and am not taking pre-calc for a few more years. Your videos are super helpful! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
where I live, we have to take advanced functions (which is the prerequisite class for calculus, and then calculus, of course), but your notes look like a combination of what we do in both classes...
In my country we have two math exams. I scored 90% in the first exam.I have the chance to do the exam again and change the grade. I hope that in the winter I would get 95%. There is am another exam in the end of this year:)
Hey I don’t think you’ll respond bc this is a really old video and you get like hundreds of comments but do you think I should drop pre calc? We’re all online for the first quarter bc of covid and I’m basically teaching myself everything that’s not even daily lectures. I’m very stressed and not preforming the best and idk what to do.
we did law of sines and cosines and graphing trig functions/inverse trig functions/graphing cosine and sine and solving trig equations in seventh grade rip
my pre calc teacher honestly sucks the most. he doesn’t explain anything and i am a couple months into school and i have no idea what I am doing. its to the point where the majority of the class is contemplating dropping into another math classZ
I am early😂!! Finally... speaking of early, next year I am going to middle school, so can you please give tips for middle and high school? I am taking Spanish next year.🌱💗 Plus I have to wake up early...😂
For anyone taking Pre-Calculus next year, familiarize yourself with the Unit Circle. That will be the basis for most of the subject. 😊
We had to memorize the stupid thing and take a quiz on the entire circle plus all of the sin, cos, tan, sec, cosec, and cotan info in Algebra 2 to help us prepare for precalc. 🙄 its not necessarily hard but its so boring 😂
I agree! def should've mentioned in the video
Thank!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who smudges, damages, and wets their notebooks. We've all been there.
Know your unit circle and your trig . Trust me it’s a life saver
any other tips??
why was her math notes video removed?
the background music was copyrighted and the company chose to take it down :(

Do you use 2 notebook? One for homework and the other for notes?? And if you use all one how do you keep it neat?
I love this so much.
such an inspiration💘
wish you the best jasmine✨💕

Description at its best ❤
How did you pass precalcus any tips
Wait why was the “ how to take math notes “ vid taken down?
any advice on whether i should take pre-calc or statistics?🙃
Hi! I know this is a bit late but I’m not sure on what notebook(s) to use, any suggestions?
Where did you get this notebook from
Why was that vid removed?
Hey just a small question but why were your notes wet near the headers throughout the flipthrough?
Nuha Islam she said in a previous comment that her water leaked in her bag :/
Cuda software is for programming, what is the website you were talking about for maths practice problems?
Maddie Blunier oh thanks!
The notes are amazing!
thank you :D

i would go higher but my school doesn't allow you to
what grade were you in when you took pre-calc?
Thank you!! I'm taking it in college soon in my freshman year... but I threw away my unit circle notes...
In my country we have two math exams. I scored 90% in the first exam.I have the chance to do the exam again and change the grade. I hope that in the winter I would get 95%.
There is am another exam in the end of this year:)
So you have an algebra 2 notes vid? I. Taking algebra 2 next year

Heyy, is there any way to have access to these notes?

I wish my notes were half of that🤤
Did anyone else notice that the top tips of the first few pages were a little smeared??
i failed my precalc class and have to take it again :(
aw that's too bad, but at least now you're extra prepared for the second time! :)
For me, algebra is pretty easy but trigonometry is killing me someone help
Hi jasmine
