- “Let’s just call it what it is, an unabashed ode to the Zeenat Aman” laughs Anirudh Birla, Co-Founder and Chief Brand Officer at AMPM.
“I was born in the mid-80s, which meant that she was already a part of our national vocabulary. Even if you were just a toddler growing up in those days, hers was a name that you were bound to know as your general awareness about the world around you increased.
If you were an Indian, consciously or unconsciously she was a part of your day-to-day” he recounts.
“Cut to present day, yet another generation seems to have discovered her. Yet another generation has fallen madly in love with the same woman. There aren’t many people who have enough stardust, enough magic in them to be able to do this. For over 50 years.
So when all our lucky stars aligned and she embraced AMPM, we couldn’t resist asking her if she’d let us be a part of her life, even if just for a day.”
