Great video as always. My first thought was "Presumably this can be linked with Readarr", so if you are able to make a video about that that would be great! You mentioned multiple users, can they share the same library or do they have to have separate ones? And can they be created with their own logins and read/write access? If the user is outside of the local network, I assume Calibre would need to be exposed in some manner via cloudflare or similar?
Thanks for the comment! I am finishing up the edit for a video on the Calibre sync with Readarr. It will be out on Saturday. When a user is added to Calibre it creates a new empty database for each user. You can set it up to share a library with multiple users. I touch on that in the sync video...
Excellent information on setting up the standard Calibre docker service. For me, readarr integration would be the goal, so if you do that video in the future, it would be fantastic.
Love your videos. You really are an expert at explaining how to do all this. Just to offer some help from the medical field, if your knee really did swell that bad and you couldn't walk after bending in the wrong direction, doubtful that it is just a sprain. You most likely tore a ligament (I'm thinking MCL). Please schedule a visit with an orthopedic surgeon.

Thanks for the love, my knee is getting better every day, it's at about 90% now, so there are times when I walk around and don't even notice it.

If you’re open to requests for other setup guides, I would love to see one for kometa for plex metadata, triliumnext for note taking, and one for paperlessngx for digital document management. Any tips on setting the email stuff up, I got a gmx account and turned on pop3 and imap and have a app password but it doesn't seem to be able to login from calibre.
My first thought was app password, but you already have that. Check out the SMTP address, should be smtp.gmail.com Username would be your full Gmail address: example@gmail.com TLS Port: 587 SSL Port: 465 Require TLS/SSL: checked If you are still having issues, come visit us on Discord and we can discuss further.

Is it possible to have a configuration in which calibre automatically sends the book to the kindle account as soon as readarr downloads it?
Not that I have found, you can have it auto-send the news, but not books. That would be fantastic though.
