That is one of the best setups for the 1.8T; I have a video on my channel of my setup which is almost similar which can give you an idea of what it will sound like with no resonator and larger diameter tubing. I went through many iterations for both my build and power goals and landed on my current setup which I think sounds great. It’s great to see some more content for B6 exhaust ideas because when I was building mine there wasn’t much high-quality video information to go off of 👍🏻👍🏻
Nice! I'll definitely check it out! Thanks! It really is one of the best cheap setup that sounds good. Yea, trying my best to put more b6 & b7 content out there haha
It sounds like 300hp and it's slower than stock.great tuning..the problem with the a4 it's not on the mufflers. The broblem is on the catalytic converter that is 10cm from the turbo so the turbo cant spool right. You must put the cat under the car and make a dp about 70mm right after the turbo.
Yea, these B6 A4 are definitely slow cars without a bigger turbo haha. In this video, I actually have a test pipe and it helped a bit. Should have gotten a tune to tie it all together but sold the car before modding it further.
Definitely subbing, I am building a B6 A6 right now I would love some advice in making more power. But I am going to run a muffler delete rn. also if you ever need help with video quality lmk. I would love to see you grow bigger.

Oh nice! Make sure there is proof of it being maintained on time. Check for oil sludge, clutch slippage, power delivery for turbo failure, make sure to drive the car for more than like 10 minutes and see if there is any overheating, and check for any kind or colored smoke from the tailpipes. Of course also check the usual electronics and A/C and heater 👍 goodluck!

I have the same car, my exhaust fell apart right after the manifolds so it’s crazy loud inside when your driving but it sounds very similar to the car in the video. No cats or anything just can’t afford/to lazy to get it fixed
would you have any idea how the exhaust sound would be like if the 2 rear mufflers are retained and we instead remove the centrally mounted stock single resonator?
I think it's not too loud, since i tried it when i installed my Sport mufflers (since the Police isn't fooling around about something like this here in Germany) Where it REALLY gets loud is, when you remove the mid muffler XD holy shit
Sounds pretty rally style, I have the magna on mine and it sounds quieter than what you have. I'm looking to pit on a testpipe. I have a hot air intake lol and straight from the cat bk to 2 small chamber rear muffs all 2.5 in. Your collection looks fantastic, I don't know what you budget each, but a Ko4 upgrade with a stage 1 would be a good step on performance. I'm not sure of the injectors in the bex (it comes standard with uprated ones already) so dunno if you need to do the upgrade of those to the TT ones and get the ecu flash along with the ko4 stage 1. Love the vids mate, my mind thinks pretty along this road as well. 👍
Oh nice! Thanks, yea I would need injectors to upgrade to a K04. Car has been sold though since Sept. Probably will be getting another but we'll see haha
I have a Black 2005 A4 3.0 V6 ULTRA SPORT. So alls I gotta do for muffler delete is cut exhaust where you did and put straight pipe with tip to make it sound like yours? Thanks👍
Yours will actually sound different because you have a V6 but it'll sound pretty good with a muffler delete too 👍 there should be videos on TH-cam for V6 B6 A4 Muffler deletes
Hey i have the same car and same year, i did a muffler delete and it is not that loud, also when i rev in idle it is not that loud, do you know what I should do?
Hey Jacob, in this video I had a CTS catless testpipe. That can help make it louder. If you don't want to go with a catless testpipe then you can also do a resonator delete as well to make it louder. 👍
Hey man where did you get the diffuser plastic piece that sits above the exhausts.? I want to get one but it seems like I can only find b7 fittings, not sure how ppl fit it on the b6…
It's actually an OEM S4 rear bumper 👍 But there was one I remember seeing for the regular B6 A4 bumper. monsterservice.pro/shop/cars/audi-a4-b6/rear-bumper-diffuser/

@cc.2337 nice! A muffler and center resonator delete will definitely get you some sound. For all seasons, it all depends on your budget. Continental and Michelins are good. And when it comes to wheel, it all depends on what you want. Comfort or more wheels.
Thanks for info :) ...& probably looking comfort more so, as with the current Eagle Sports, i swear the A4 REALLY feels EVERY road flaw which somewhat interrupts an otherwise wicked enjoyable ride hahaha...
