The Bread Hex

World famous to some rivers, the hex is a very large nocturnal mayfly that typically hatches in northern Michigan near the end of June. The spinner is the main event, and while the hatch -- which typically occurs around midnight -- is the favorite of some, I've found a lot of success fishing this spinner imitation for both the spinner and the dun.
