It's not gonna be any of these I think. Considering how Plagueis never wanted his apprentices to make the Jedi aware of their presence. So, Qimir going out literally slaughtering so many Jedi, I assume Plagueis would NOT be happy about this and probably kill him. And we all know Palpatine is gonna end up as his apprentice anyway, so Plagueis is gonna kill them both/get Palpatine to kill them.

Pacing and dialogue quality are the two biggest things I’d want improved for a season 2, and I genuinely do want to see another one. The show runner has said the path that Osha and Qimir are in can only lead to death unless they alter their path from the Sith which will be hard because Qimir is the confirmed apprentice, and Plagieus pretty sure made the twins to either: 1) test cloning for recreating a body for if you die, or 2) trying to make a dyad to use for healing. Thanks for the shout out, and the theory is good too. Although I think Qimir is just one of Tenebrous' Acolytes. Could also be possible Tenebrous stationed Qimir there to hunt Cortosis. Now I could be wrong, I haven't read the chapter in over a year and I intend to start the book over at some point, but from what I remember of the Plagueis Novel I think Bal'demnic's Cortosis reserves were only a recent discovery for both Plagueis and Tenebrous. So Qimir could have been sent to hunt Cortosis for Tenebrous across the Galaxy, or hunted it himself so he could eventually challenge Plagueis and attempt to kill him.
I’d reckon that Qimir has been trained as a (rather overzealous) Sith assassin, much like Asajj Ventress or Darth Maul, by Plagueis. He would be Plagueis’ apprentice to help him overthrow Tenebrous. After all, at this time, Palpatine isn’t born yet and Plagueis would be a relatively young man. Tenebrous may even know about Qimir, hence why he has no Sith name yet. Obviously something will happen to Qimir which takes him out of the picture, leading Plagueis to search for and find a teenage Sheev Palatine instead.

The finale was quite good. I do wish that the connection between Vernestra Rwoh and Qimir had been clarified. The finale does make episode 7 clearer and less tedious as well. Qimir might be tested by Plaglueis and lurking about unknown or he is watching the beginning of the Knights of Ren. So many ways that story can be told. Yoda probably knew all long about the decline and did nothing to rectify the matter. Vernestra Rwoh came to Yoda to update him on the cover up and that Qimir lives. So the rot starts and gets worse, finally evolving to the fall of the Republic and Jedi Order. Really should have been a minimum of twelve episodes and a run time of 50 minutes each episode to truly be epic. Then no need for a second season. All in all, I give The Acolyte a 7 out of 10. To be honest I can't see what the controversy and freaking over this show was about. It told a the decline story from a different angle and contained ZERO hidden messages. Way too much overreaction and trying to politicized the show was beyond silly.
Possibly 4.. Maybe Q only knows plagues by his public name.. according to the novel.. im forgetting his name at the moment.. And has hired Q to find cortosis/ other missions and will reveal his true identity when Q and now …Osha are no longer useful for his needs..all in an effort to see if the rule of two could be broken and have Sith working together without destroying each other as he hoped would happen with sidious.. Maybe???? Love Star Wars… May the force be with..all of you ..always..
Can we just talk about how that cave ain't that big and we should've seen some hint of Plagueis while they were there. Tbh missed opportunity to have Plagueis messing with Osha when she has the helmet on. The potential of drip fed information of her feeling someone there, removing the helmet, looking around, seeing no one, putting the helmet back on, a hand reaches out to touch the helmet she begins having a vision, she leaves the vision to see Plagueis through the slits, full blown panic ensues, resume where the series went with "the stranger" coming in and seeing her panicking and her believing she only saw a vision.
Sith masters arent bullies on the playground. We dont know anything about the size of the cave or if he was even in the same cave. Lastly, there's faint whispering that isnt Qimir when she has it on and is controlling him. So maybe Plauegis
I don’t think this has anything to do with gathering an ancient metal 😂 pretty sure they are trying to imply this is plagious learned to manipulate the force . By the twins he saw it was possible. In his book it backfired on him creating anakin skywalker.. but the book is not cannon. Wouldn’t doubt if that’s the road they are going down.
I still feel like it’s way too early because this is supposed to be set 100 years or 132 years before the battle of Jevin so I feel his master Tenebrous be better
@@CantinaTalkSW speech to text. I still say Tenebrous would have been way cooler. He was supposed to be classy a star ship designer etc I would have loved to explore the aristocracy of the High Republic. A drama about the upper class like we did w the prequels.

It says a lot about where Plagueis is at this point in the timeline. I also believe that Darth Plagueis had a hand in the twins being made and the witches had no idea

I think it meant he understood her anger, and he forgave her. It was a plea to her to turn back from the dark side, but at the same time an expression of acceptance, acknowledgment that he had done something wrong.
For me, this show had major issues. Take Star Wars out of it. The actors fell flat, writing was not helpful for them at all in my opinion. Hard for actors to do their job right when the material they get is dogshit. As we know, there's some quality actors in the show and we know they would've delivered better with a better written script. Now put Star Wars back in into it. I personally do not care about birthdays getting switched around, for example Mundi. If we're thinking about what we know of Plagueis and his age, he shouldn't be older than 15-20 years old in this show (which they have probably changed around too which is fine imo) but the way they portrayed him goes against his character in so many ways. If he is young he most certainly is not the "wise" yet. But, him just being here on this planet makes little to no sense, especially if Qimir is his apprentice. Plagueis had plenty of apprentices spread throughout the galaxy, but the reason for why he got his nickname of "the wise" is because he was exactly that. Plagueis was powerful cause he hid in plain sight, just like Palpatine did (exactly where Palpatine learned it from). Plagueis being aware of his apprentices killing Jedi when he specifically do NOT want any of his apprentices to make anyone aware of their presence. I wish they would've stayed away from characters fans already know and love. The show had interesting ideas no doubt about it, just sad everything was executed that badly. Everyone is saying how the favorite part of the show was the big fight with Qimir vs The Jedi, which of course, everyone loves a good saber fight. That alone doesn't save the show though, sadly. I do hope for the showrunners sake, and Star Wars, that they do some MAJOR work for season 2, cause my god, they need it. If they keep spewing out these badly written characters in every show then they might as well just end the franchise here and now. All us fans want is some quality Star Wars, correct? I hope we all get what we want in the future.

I think EVERYONE should treat Acolyte however they see fit WITHOUT saying antagonizing statements like this. Don't accept it as canon? Well that's fine, you do you. I've been playing fast and loose with the canonicity of the Sequels. But I don't go tell others how to view the sequels. I think theyre poorly written, cheap (not cheap as in budget, but cheap meaning there's just such little thought put into certain things), and completely disregard characters and storylines for a convoluted "invert" story that doesnt make a whole lot of sense. But if someone enjoys them, well thats their perogative and I'm happy for them.
1. There’s NO REASON Hego Demask would be creeping around in the shadows of a cave he’s the leader of intergalactic banking clan it’s beneath him 2. qimir is no where near worthy enough to be his apprentice 3 here’s the canon breaker then on top of all that when he killed tenebrous that was the first time they’d been on that plant the only reason they were there was because subtext mining told them about the planet and the cortosis and that didn’t even happen until 50 YEARS after all of this was supposed to take place. MAKES ZERO SENSE

Maybe????
Love Star Wars…
May the force be with..all of you ..always..
Also didn't tenabrus bought a mining droid and plagius kill tenabus on baldemic

The gathering of the material was from the same book.
@@CantinaTalkSW yes and the book isn’t cannon lol next !!😂😂😂
👍💯
I still feel like it’s way too early because this is supposed to be set 100 years or 132 years before the battle of Jevin so I feel his master Tenebrous be better
He has no canon age. So it can work.
@@CantinaTalkSW interesting i didn’t realize that.
*ps STT sucks
@@DaxSudo STT?
@@CantinaTalkSW speech to text.
I still say Tenebrous would have been way cooler. He was supposed to be classy a star ship designer etc I would have loved to explore the aristocracy of the High Republic. A drama about the upper class like we did w the prequels.
@@DaxSudo no worries! I understood what you were putting down lol
Connecting shorts to videos that have nothing to do with the shorts doesnt make me ever want to watch your videos. I dont know why youre doing this.
okay, cool. Don't go and watch them then. I'm connecting my shorts to my main videos on my channel to have people take a look at them. That's the whole point of the feature, to begin with.
It says a lot about where Plagueis is at this point in the timeline. To me, it looks like looks like Plagueis isn't wearing a breathing apparatus so the first assassination attempt on him has not been done yet on Darth Plagueis. I also believe that Darth Plagueis had a hand in the twins being made and the witches had no idea
Couldn’t agree more! You hit the head on the nail perfectly
@@CantinaTalkSW thank you.
What is Kortosis and what are it's common uses?
IIRC it’s a metal that lightsabers can’t penetrate, basically like beskar from The Mandalorian, I’m sure there’s more properties and now that I think about it I think it even turns off lightsabers (but my memory might be wrong, haven’t seen the show yet so going from memory)
The sabers in the show do spontaneously deactivate when neat the Stranger.
@@svenanon1146 its from the bane series, cant recall it being shown anywhere else and was used by the republic for ship armor to troopers platings and the sith armies
incredible show, love the new characters and loyalty changes, the adding of yoda and plaguis near the end really adds some hype to season 2, idk why there was so much hate on this series, i think if people had of waited to the full season was out the fan reviews might of been different, but instead impatient fans with no attention span jsut trash it right after the first couple episodes without giving the series time to show what it has in store, i really hope the impatient fan base doesnt cost a second season of such a great show with so much more to tell
Hey what did Sol Mean When Osha Was Choking Him That It Was Ok?
I think it meant he understood her anger, and he forgave her. It was a plea to her to turn back from the dark side, but at the same time an expression of acceptance, acknowledgment that he had done something wrong.
Yeah well I mean have been complaining about him killing her mother why would you orphan kids? Ain’t that against the Jedi Code?
Acolyte is so bad we won’t get to see how this plays out Kathleen Kennedy is garbage
You actually care about the lore of the acolyte…? 😂😂😂
100% 😂

"Children" shouldn't have TH-cam installed on their Smartphones in the first place.

Of course, try to behave.
I don't like the current trajectory.
Still I Always try to be as respectful as possible.
Can we shit can all non Lucas starwars except cartoons and mando and obi wan and go back to comics….man Disney sucks.M
Plagueis will have humans sized head for sure
You know if they had made the acolyte be further in the past and not cut the wookie fight I think i would've wanted a second season.
This show is NOT canon. I suggest EVERYONE treats it as such.
ths show is Cannon, and everyone should treat it as such
On your own
Nobody asked
I was skeptical but it got allot better and definitely has the best fights scenes since the prequels
1. There’s NO REASON Hego Demask would be creeping around in the shadows of a cave he’s the leader of intergalactic banking clan it’s beneath him
2. qimir is no where near worthy enough to be his apprentice
3 here’s the canon breaker then on top of all that when he killed tenebrous that was the first time they’d been on that plant the only reason they were there was because subtext mining told them about the planet and the cortosis and that didn’t even happen until 50 YEARS after all of this was supposed to take place.
MAKES ZERO SENSE
Blatant wire work ala Crouching Tiger is, and always will be, hit trash.
They handled this show so poorly it genuinely feels like Kathleen Kennedy and her cronies are going out of their way agh this out of their way to just shit all over the legacy of Star Wars. They don’t understand the lore at all.
As a die hard fan of Star Wars, this Alcohol lyte left me dazed and confused! What happened to the great George Lucas stories and timeline? Disney is definitely heading down a very dark path!😢
