I lived in Surat Thani Province in 2015, and made a trip to Khao Sok and was very impressed with the landscapes, and the park itself. Easily one of the best national parks in Thailand, and I've been to almost every province. I regret not being able to visit Ratchaprapha Dam which is apparently really nice with Bungalows on the water etc., but apparently you have to arrange your own transportation to get over there. Mark I have been watching you for years. I love Thai food it's my favorite. You and your wife and Micah are such a beautiful family. give my love to them. You guys are the best. My fiancé couldn't understand why I like to watch people eating he says he can't understand just watching someone eat but he's been watching you and he told me he prefers watching you because you are not just eating but you are traveling and giving us an insight to other cultures so now he is a fan of yours. So now he watches you and Mikey Chen who is another TH-cam that travels and eats. :)
Thailand is on my top list of places to visit! People are so friendly and humble like you And your family. I love the nature and natural beauty of the place!
I stayed there couple of years ago. Great place! There’s a massage spot in that village that was absolutely amazing. It was operated out of the masseuse’s house, and especially if you time it just right like I did, you get pampered while surrounded by the smell and the sound of a resting jungle. It is everything!
That’s great of you Mark for showcasing something other than food especially those areas of Thailand that are not very popular to general tourists. You are one of the greatest ambassador to Thailand.
So beautiful. It's like my dreamscape. I could sit on the desk , looking at beautiful green scenery as I watch Mark Wein videos. I would take breaks to paint, and eat fresh fruit 🥭🍉🍊🍍🥑 as I sipped from coconut 🥥 with an umbrella straw🍹.
I feel like these are all the amazing places in Thailand that as tourists we are not really aware of yet. Thankfully we have Mark!! Providing accommodation that is extremely cheap only for the owner, because using a field between palm oil trees that are not used anyway, providing nothing for toursint for good money. No AC, the mosquito net on top has holes. So just be open minded, is my advice, have a clear and wide perspective. Oh yes, and rescued elelhants he claims? Sorry those elephants are abused. Maffia guys “rescuing” those elephants selling to maffia guys. How are those rescued? “Rescued” from plantations like this where they cut the jungle, great “humanity” and huge manipulation. Please note the wors in quotation marks :) goodday.
