For anyone who plays the game and aims to get 100% 3 stars, the video creator forgot one secret level clear at World 5-B (Precarious Byway). To get the secret level clear, climb up the vine (leading up to the 2nd Star Coin area), instead of going right, keep climbing up and proceed to go left, there should be a pipe which leads towards the red flag pole, allowing access towards the warp pipe that leads to the World 5-Castle (Freezeflame Fortress). Check your file select screen and that should be 3 stars, thank me later.

It’s only depressing when it’s done for 4 games in a row, so in think vanilla NSMB DS shouldn’t be criticized much for this. Especially when I think it has the best level design and is the overall best game out of the NSMB games.

This is by far one of my favorite New Super Mario Bros rom hacks, has really interesting level gimmicks, the music is good, it uses de Pokémon HGSS/BW/B2W2 soundfont and has good difficulty.
You should see Another New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It basically redesigns the levels.
You should also see Newer Super Mario Bros. Falling Leaf. It basically makes things autumn.
You also should see Newer Super Mario Bros. Summer Sun. It makes things summer (obviously).
You also should see Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii Holiday Special. Everything is Christmas.

Yeah they used the pokemon HGSS soundfont for the music (a soundfont is basically a collection of instruments, ripped from the songs.)
