Rode cedar creek and holton a few weeks ago. That sand is shallow compared to saint helens and some spots in leaota. Had a blast, and what a fast trail. P.s. stay away from holton unless you want miles of supercross size whoops 😂
I rode Cedar Creek in the 80's. There was no real parking lot, trails were not well marked and the sand was less. Got married, quit riding and at 58 decided to take it back up. On a faster machine now but the older driver (me) not so much.
Just had my first MI riding experience. Im used to WV & PA. Little O was super fun. The whoops at Evart, Tin cup & Caberfae were all nuts. Not nuts in a good way either haha. But yeah expect lots of sand and whoops in Michigan. Thanks for all the content!
Does anyone in Michigan know trails that are less sandy? Little O isn't bad, but I grew up in south west Michigan riding back woods and I prefer dirt, mud but less sand? We don't have trails down here in Cass and Van Buren County.
Man, I'd love to come out and rip a trail or two with you. That bi-directional trail system is way sketchy though, no? I'd be paranoid the whole time esp on the that 50" trail that allows quads.
Definitely a great home base but man there is so much out there I couldn’t just ride one area. Eventually I would like to pick off every trail in out state and use the winter for going south or west!
It looks like your buddys Beta needs some more spring tension on that rear shock. He is bottoming it out pretty hard from what it looks like. That is probably why he said it was bouncing side to side. I could be full of it though... Just an observation.

Many moons ago, we would ride at Cedar Creek and Holton Loop.
Getting back into it with my brother and buddies in our 50's!
Nice, it’s the best sport out there, have fun!

Thanks! All the trails you mentioned are great!

The only problem with cedar creek it's usually very busy .
Yes but for people from out of state they usually want the closest trail first. Thanks for watching.
I went here on the fourth going back up tomorrow hopefully
Nice! It’s a great place to ride if you like to go fast! 🤙🏽
i ride here all the time such a fun trail
Sure is!
Went and rode this last weekend after watching your video, great trail but man was it whooped out
Ya that trail gets hammered because is the most southern trail. I think this trail gets groomed a few times a year.
Thanks, coming from Michigan City soon........been a long time!
Awesome! I was hoping this would find people that need it, more to come.
Cedar doesn't get a lot of love because not everyone likes the sand but once you're comfortable in it it's a beautiful trail!
It’s not my favorite place but it’s okay. Looking forward to Muskegon race, if you guys burn the trail in anymore I’d love to join.
Growing up in florida was nice because i grew up in sand so now it doesnt bother me at all
@@freakbeachboy nice!
Hated it when i started riding though. Especially on a 50. It sucked
Outstanding.

I’m usually on single track but I did this trail during the week which is less sketchy. 😃
I live in Illinois as well awesome track
Rode yesterday, really dissapointed to see how much trash people left in the parking lot.
Love the south loop!
South Loop is my favorite of the two!
Going to be riding in the UP next week around Newberry. Way different than what we are used to in Southern Ohio.
Have fun, the U.P. is the best!
@Captain250FX what's the riding like? Still sand in UP?
@@vosburghtnot as much as down state, watch out for small creeks and mud bogs…lol
Living in Indian River I've never thought about traveling to ride.

I’ll be up there in March 2024
🤙
Is there an RV park nearby with hook ups?
I'm not sure. This trail is in Holton, Michigan so you can look into the area.
I always ride in leaota st Helen Clair Roscommon I ride a lot and near Higgins lake
I’ve yet to ride that way. I’ll make it over there eventually.
@@Captain250FXgotta ride geels in St. Helen

You’re right! He’s about to send it to EE soon. Brian tried to dial it in himself but says he’ll just send it out now.
If you have Indiana license plate do you still have to have the stickers?
Yes
@ 5:20 5th gear tapped?? You run 70 mph on that trail?
It might have been a slight exaggeration but you can go way to fast on this trail if you want to.
@Captain250FX agreed, it's a faster than normal trail for michigan... just wanted to make sure I wasn't molasses slow . Lol
