@@Captain250FX Thanks. ✌ a buddy and i plan on checking out the area, end of May. I have a friend that lives on Skeels. We will be riding out from there.
My brother and I were there Sunday. We rode the north loop the week before and it was really deep and difficult. Sunday we rode the whole south loop, was fast and fun.
@@Captain250FX I didn't know the jug bolts were vibrating loose so I lost the base gasket. The second time the wrist pin bearing failed and dropped into the crankcase when I took it apart to see what went wrong. That's an old Maico for you though
Thanks for watching! I watched your video the other day about the husky 150i, looking at a husky for next season. So many choices, husky, beta or another FX I’m confused and not sure. 😁
@@Captain250FX All the bikes are good and I'm sure whatever you choose will make you happy. If you can ride them, that'll make the differences a lot more obvious. I'm fortunate to have ridden the entire Beta range (at a demo), lots of newer KTMs (friends) and recently a brand new WR250F (friend), and made my choice accordingly. For the style of riding I like to do anyway.
Cool Vid! Looks like a great ride, I keep my bike in Twin Lake now and will try to ride this trail or Holton Loop this weekend with the nice weather we are supposed to have. Have you ridden either one this year?
Cool vid. I ride that trail often, but the dirt conditions don't affect a quad quite as much. I know exactly where you are at the end of your vid - I drive over that same bridge with a selfie stick view in this video: th-cam.com/video/6Pr8nKS-AOg/w-d-xo.html
It's not to often we have dirt this good in August! It rained all day yesterday!
I ride there all the time
Nice, it’s a good place!
Conditions looked prime 👌
Appreciate that!
Are there forest roads or 2 tracks to ride in the holton area? We are getting a litte old for the trails by the looks of it.
Yes, plenty of both in that area.

Awesome vids dope ass trails I will be there this summer 😮
Nice!
I hit like for you too my friend👊
🤙🏽
How long does it take for both loops?
Depends on your riding ability? But these are short loops, roughly 8 miles a piece.
but cedar creek will definitely be somewhere we will have to check out.
Is this a good trail for a dual sport? Like a KLR650
That would depend on your ability? It’s a wide trail so there’s that, but this trail has lots of deep sand.
Great video! Yup, Cedar Creek sand is deep and loose like St. Helen, just hope it rains alot before you go out!
🤙🏽
We've been getting rain out here in Arizona also! Gota love it!
Heck ya, I bet it hot in AZ right now!
Looks awesome great trail would love to ride here🙌🏽😎
Let me know if you ever come to town! ✊🏽💨
@@Captain250FX Definitely will do cheers bro 👌🏽
Purdy bike.Killer trails with lotsa traction. Sweet.

Can tell your suspension is dialed in just watching your video
It is for now, I need to quit gaining weight. 😂😂

Nice, that rain sure makes a big difference!
My bike blew up here twice after being rebuilt
Really? I guess this is not the place to bring a Freshie.

Looks awesome!
Modern cameras do such a great job of stabilizing video and making it look like a smooth dirt freeway :D

Looks great! What tire do you like to run in that deep of sand?
Mx 33’s are a great tire for Michigan sand! It’s a Dunlop.
@@Captain250FX Thanks! Will try a set out! Much appreciated!!

I’ve ridden Cedar a few times earlier this year.
