I booked Hellwitch in Cleveland multiple times... First was with Nunslaughter and Crucified Mortals as a co promotion with Jim Konya at the Phantasy. Stayed at my house every time they played here. We made special shirts for that show too.
back on black is fine. they used to put out substandard releases when they first started in 2006, before they even started using GZ. 12 years ago back on black was still pretty bad. by about 8 years ago they changed their ways. they don't add any extras or inserts or anything to the releases but at least the records aren't off center and jacked up.
While I normally agree, you gotta admit those S/Ts and Aske represses they put out a few years back great. Too bad they won't do that same thing to all the early Burzum.
Saw the mighty NUN last night with Profanatica. Good shit indeed. I just wished NS played longer. They have so many classic songs. Hellwitch's first full-length kicks ass, in my opinion. Yes, it is technical, but the SONGS are fucking there, DAWG. That album just relentlessly attacks you. Definitely go revisit it. A comp of their demos would be great. I'd definitely buy that.
