Love it Mel leaves you walk alone, any curry and chips there this time of year can you even get a cornet a Cornish pasty or even a boat trip this time of year,is it so you can walk there perhaps rare low tide every few decades or every hundred years the sea parts to looe sounds like a legend.😮
love looe and polperro, hope you got a pasty from sarahs. i stayed in the cottage with blue window frames next to the bridge in polperro, but they were doing the drains so i had jcbs and workmen outside the balcony and the smell of shite all day , which was not good, got my money back, been going here from 1978, love it.
Nice walk Marcus. Cracking seascape scenery. I remember years ago my dad bought me a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle of Polperro. Tough puzzle with all those similar coloured houses.
Hello from the States. A nice seaside town and scenic coastal walk. It looked like you got a good cardio workout this time. I’m sure you and Mel found a nice seafood restaurant/pub and had a seafood platter with a few pints. How did you get back to Looe? Bus, taxi, or did you walk back? Take care, stay safe and be well.
Hi, thanks for watching. There is a bus service but we were staying near Talland Bay so I walked back (uphill) about a mile and a half away from Polperro.
I think that it's once a year that you can walk to the island, but the water, depending on your height,is close to your knees, the water doesn't completely disappear.
Marcus, Thanks for the video. Could you tell me if there are any parts of the walk that are close to a cliff edge or steep bank such that tripping over could lead to a.serious fall? Many thanks - Mark
I once shared an ice cream with Richard Madeley while sitting on a bench overlooking Tallard Bay. I let him nibble my chocolate flake and lick my chopped nuts. He said it made a pleasant change from Judy's crusty fish pie.
Another walk from the South Coast th-cam.com/video/mNfAmIMS8_I/w-d-xo.html
Done this walk many times, beautiful :)
What nice views Cornwall is a beautiful part of Britain great video as usual
Yes, it is a beautiful area.
Great video Marcus I haven't been to Cornwall for year's it's a beautiful place to visit
We were lucky with the weather too
Also not been for very long, long long.
Do remember a great ice cream shop in Looe and the all-time greatest B&B in Polperro.

Not good, but when things aren't ripped apart by workmen, it's a really nice place.

Did he hide the last piece
Hi Marcus awesome live video on Cornwall. It's a beautiful historical town. How are you doing? I'm doing well. Have a great day see you next video 😊
Hi - yes Cornwall is a very interesting and picturesque part of the UK
That's great to know. Thank you for such a quick reply.
Any time!
I love Looe, I visited many times.
Yes. It is a very nice place.
It's true you can walk to Looe Island a couple of times a year, but you have to know the tide times well.
Thanks for the info.

Hi Marcus and Mel. Hope you are both well.
Good thanks - 👍

Thanks for that info, the island did look quite a distance from the shore.

Although it is a cliff-top walk, the only chance of falling is if you deviate from the path and walk to the edge, no chance of accidentally doing it.
❤🎉LUV YA'LL
Did that walk once with a pushchair lol . 😂😂
Hard work up some of those cliff sides

That’s a definite 10 on the “carry on” scale
Very good video, but drop the music, natural sounds are better at all times makes you want to watch it again and again, music put you off🤷🏼♂️
Hi, good point. You need to watch my walking channel for more walks without music.
