I read an article yesterday that Urban Decay is coming out with a collection of products in collaboration with the Prince estate. The eyeshadow palettes are very colorful as expected. I'm a huge Prince fan and want one of those palettes! There's also 2 eyeliners, a liquid highlighter and waterproof translucent powder. :)

Really like the foundation. Just not sure about the "dry" feeling. I am uber dry. Love how the sun caught the purple color in your hair and it matched perfectly to the purple outer corner shade of your eyes.

I've been enjoying this foundation mixed with ColourPop Pretty Fresh foundation. I originally mixed them for a better color match, but I've also liked the formulas together. The CP makes the Tarte just a bit more hydrating.

Totally agree about samples. I think with covid it should be mandatory to offer sample/mini sizes now (even if we have to pay for them). Idk how it is everywhere else, but in MI we can't swatch anything in stores. It's such a waste to buy a whole bottle and have to exchange it til you find the right shade. They have to be losing money and it's a waste

I had to laugh when you said you forgot to put concealer on, bc I just did that the other day! I think we’ve all had days where we’ve done something like that. I’ve forgot brows, and mascara before too! I had the rainforest of the sea foundation from tarte before. What is the difference? I’m so confused🤔 I gave it away bc I found it a little too drying for me. It didn’t look good around my eye area. It just didn’t flatter my smaller wrinkles when I smile, around my eyes.

Hi Shelley that's impressive after wearing a mask - my foundation/tinted moisturiser is usually all rubbed off on it. I'm wondering about the 15 shades tbh - doesn't sound like a lot does it? I'm sure they usually have more than that and I'm normally their porcelain beige I believe (although it isn't a perfect match and needs some minor adjustment). I'll have a look on the website. This might be a good one for Summer - long wear, mask proof and needing a bit of humidity in the air to remain really comfortable on drier skin. It's nice to see another A though. Best wishes.

Hi Alexandra! My favorite bronzer brush is one of the Wayne Goss anniversary brushes that is no longer available unfortunately. It does look almost identical to this one though - go.magik.ly/ml/17h6n/ The brush I use for contour is a no-name angled dense brush (which I blend out a bit with the bronzer brush).

Hey Shelly! I would love to see a concealer routine for VERY dry aging (i'm 41) skin. I'm in desperate need. LOL. I'm trying to figure out the under eyes before my wedding in October. :)
I just wrote that idea down!! But the nutshell would be - get into a super dedicated morning/evening moisturizing routine specific to your under eye. You've got enough time for it to work! Morning and night I'm using the Mizon snail repair eye cream, and in the mornings on top of that I go back and forth between the No7 Radiance+ eye cream and the Good Molecules Wake Up matcha eye gel. The more hydrated my under eyes are, the less I have issues with concealer settling into my lines or getting flaking under my eyes.

Although I have a channel upcoming, (it's very different, bc I'm very different, weird, different, unique lol) I have accepted it at this point! Although I am a skincare junkie with a ton of credible knowledge about skincare, there are many products I have yet to try. I haven't tried the new Garnier Melon Serum. I love something that's tacky (that will eventually sink in or that can be used as a primer) This serum is intriguing. Due 2 budget issues & the serum is $17 w/o tax, is the scent overwhelming? I'm iffy on using this solely as a sunscreen, so I'm wondering do you use a sunscreen underneath or does this provide enough SPF alone? Although I'm demoing many foundations, my go-to foundations r MAC studio fix, Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue, & Bare Minerals Regular Powder Foundation. Does this Garnier Melon Serum Provide plumping action? I have dry, mature skin that needs plumping in specific areas. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this please? Also, long overdue since I watch your videos, I absolutely love them and YOU! Thank you for being U! Thank you for all the hard work you put in. I notice you're a teacher. I love that you're a teacher. The world needs Teachers like U! I have not had any luck confirming if Tarte taking "rainforest of the sea" out of the name on the bottle is just a rebranding/repackaging of the original formula or if it's a different product. The larger bottle also does have this new "sea water" phrasing too but I also find the "rainforest" packaging available online too.
I notice them when they bring a few friends along, but I’m not going to worry about them. I’ve gotten this far and people underage me because they’re so sparse so far.
Do you prefer this one to the tarte rainforest of the sea foundation? I have the rainforest one I like it. It looks good on my skin but I wish it had more coverage and it comes off super easy especially when it's hot out. However I do like it do you think this one might be better?

The large bottle on Sephora says Rainforest of the Sea. I think they are just repackaging/renaming the line to “Sea”. I have the large bottle and it performs and behaves just as Shelley describes.

I've always heard great things about tarte and their sea foundations. I want to try one day but I'm finding it hard to try anything besides my purito bb cream. That eye look is amazing and has my curious to try more color. I always stick to neutrals. And OMG that grogu warmer!!! I can't wait to get mines. I just got my boys the r2-d2 warmer and I want to steal it from them so bad 🤣🤣🤣
I am trying NOT to buy the R2-D2 one!!! LOL because my mom is sensitive to scents so I can only use them in my beauty room and my bedroom so I have nowhere to put another one if I get more warmers! But the projection thing - omg!

Hey Shelly! I would love to see a concealer routine for VERY dry aging (i'm 41) skin. I'm in desperate need. LOL. I'm trying to figure out the under eyes before my wedding in October. :)
I just wrote that idea down!! But the nutshell would be - get into a super dedicated morning/evening moisturizing routine specific to your under eye. You've got enough time for it to work! Morning and night I'm using the Mizon snail repair eye cream, and in the mornings on top of that I go back and forth between the No7 Radiance+ eye cream and the Good Molecules Wake Up matcha eye gel. The more hydrated my under eyes are, the less I have issues with concealer settling into my lines or getting flaking under my eyes.

Hi Shelley! I love your channel! Thank you for all your foundation demos! Your skin is so flawless! I love how you teach us so much and how you're so humble! You're stunning, intelligent, kind, funny and so artistic! I do have a question on the Garnier Melon Serum please.. Although I have a channel upcoming, (it's very different, bc I'm very different, weird, different, unique lol) I have accepted it at this point! Although I am a skincare junkie with a ton of credible knowledge about skincare, there are many products I have yet to try. I haven't tried the new Garnier Melon Serum. I love something that's tacky (that will eventually sink in or that can be used as a primer) This serum is intriguing. Due 2 budget issues & the serum is $17 w/o tax, is the scent overwhelming? I'm iffy on using this solely as a sunscreen, so I'm wondering do you use a sunscreen underneath or does this provide enough SPF alone? Although I'm demoing many foundations, my go-to foundations r MAC studio fix, Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue, & Bare Minerals Regular Powder Foundation. Does this Garnier Melon Serum Provide plumping action? I have dry, mature skin that needs plumping in specific areas. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this please?

Thanks, Kim! I would definitely pick the MAC between the two. It's so super versatile in coverage and has some of the best wear time of all of my foundations, even with masking.
Was excited for this until read ingredients. Has SD alcohol which is skin drying. Did look nice on you.

Online yes! I'm not sure about in store. I have an appointment with my mom's car "over the mountain" in a couple weeks near the Big Sephora and now that I'm vax'd you KNOW I'm going to go in there and just look at every single item IN PERSON and love life lol.

Hi Scarlett! I have not had any luck confirming if Tarte taking "rainforest of the sea" out of the name on the bottle is just a rebranding/repackaging of the original formula or if it's a different product. The larger bottle also does have this new "sea water" phrasing too but I also find the "rainforest" packaging available online too.
Do you find the Tarte Maracuja Tint to be more hydrating?/dewy?
I would say they're about the same or the Maracuja maybe a tiny bit less hydrating and dewy (but very closely similar).

Do you prefer this one to the tarte rainforest of the sea foundation? I have the rainforest one I like it. It looks good on my skin but I wish it had more coverage and it comes off super easy especially when it's hot out. However I do like it do you think this one might be better?

I'm not absolutely positive but the Sea Hydroflex that came out more recently looks like a re-branding of the same previous Sea water foundation.

The large bottle on Sephora says Rainforest of the Sea. I think they are just repackaging/renaming the line to “Sea”. I have the large bottle and it performs and behaves just as Shelley describes.
I have a feeling they are in the process of repackaging. I can't seem to confirm it but the ingredients look the same.
